MAC Quite Cute Discussion

My things just arrived! I only purchased 2 lippies from the QC collection and spent $46.50 before tax, so you can imagine my surprise when I opened the package and found that they sent me pins! I guess its an apology gesture for the shipping mishap/site crash. There's 4 pins, 2 large ones and 2 small ones... super cute.

The Satin finish on Playing Koi is what makes it so great! That, plus the color is very vibrant without having that pasty white feeling. MAC really knocked it out of the park with the lipsticks in this collection, even if they're all in that girly girly pastel doll-lips camp.

No I'm not getting my order I'm so pissed. I'm calling MAC later to just cancel everything because thats how pissed I am. All I really wanted was CYY and I'm not even getting it.
Basically I put my order in around the 6th at 8pm everything was fine, got the email that my order went thru. Then Fri my card was charged but on my MAC account it still said pending. So since I was reading on here that everyone was having issues I'd figure mine was just like yours and they'd get it straighten out this week. Well when ppl started getting their confirmations and I didn't I called and they said "Oh your billing and shipping address was different so the order didn't go thru" SO WHY SEND ME AN EMAIL SAYING IT DID! Why charge my account! Like at least let me know don't go take my money for items I'm NOT getting! So the lady was like I have to charge your card AGAIN so I'l like okay am I getting ALL that I paid for again and she's like yes. I just looked at my card and they only charged me for one thing so I'm so sick and pissed at how poorly they handled this I'm just cancelling the order.
I know some people may think I'm spazzing out but I just feel like you shouldn't take money out of people's account knowing they are not going to get their product. If I didn't call and check for myself I would have never known. I'll be sure to let MAC know how I feel. Sorry for typos.

Its lovely on you. Aren't you surprised at how wearable that bright of a pink is.My MAC order arrived this morning so I got the backups I wanted plus my first CYY lipstick. I expect another in a Nordy order later today. I am loving this colour so much!! I matched it up with Sakura l/s and instead of using the Quad today I went for some pinks and lavenders in one of my MAC palettes and Vanilla on the brow.
Thank you! Sort of surprised, especially when so many said they were afraid of wearing this out in public, but I'm not! This is so 70's! The paler pastel l/s of this collection were very 60's, but this reminds me of my youth, gum, frilly long floral skirts, Laura Ashley, lilacs in my hair! Hehehe....

girl, you have every right to be pissed! I'm so sorry you had to go through that! I think you should definitely tell Mac how you feel. Who knows...they might even try and track a CYY down for you since they handled this situation so poorly =\

I hauled CYY today :encore: and that amongst others (springsteen blush, angel l/s, prep n prime finishing powder, fix+) :encore: plus OH paid :shock: It's gonna require a FOTD (I haven't forgotten my CUTiE FOTD, I just haven't been on the lappy to upload the pics and products used in the correct thread, the pics of that look can be found somewhere on this thread if anyone's interested in the mean while) I'm such a happy shopping bunny today! I can't wait to try CYY... Plus I got my shipping notice for Ice Cream Cake and the cute pins - wooooot! :eyelove: Thanks elegant-one, you really inspired me to get CYY and I really do need a shove in the right direction sometimes but gently - your tips on how to intro more colour gently are great

The prices in Spain are the same as the prices in Germany (at least for pigments/eyeshadows) and here, a lipstick is 18 euros... no idea how to convert it into dollars, but it's more :/ Probably still cheaper than trying to find it on ebay, though!
I can't wait until monday! Everyone looks soooo amazing with CYY! I'll be the first person at my local counter and buy that damned lipstick before I even start browsing/swatching anything else. I don't think I've ever wanted a lipstick that much.

I hate full on pics of my face, but wanted to join in on the CYY love.
This is applied full on, but still super pretty when lightly tapped over a gloss.
Excuse my wet head and look of consternation, lol! I'm nearsighted and trying to focus the phone camera in the bathroom mirror.
