Anyone else having problems with the nail polishes? I did my manicure with Little Girl Type and the brush is beyond horrible, never seen so bad brush in nail polishes!

It's scratchy and the bristles fan out randomly and it's just ragged. The formula has issues too, it's thick and I really have to work to get it on nicely without streaks and looking too thick and messy (well the brush certainly doesn't help). The pink one was a nice colour, but I saw the outcome on one MA and it wasn't pretty so I skipped it, now it bothers me the lilac one has the same issues.

PinkBasset - you're not the only one about the polishes. I too am having issues with them unfortunately. I had to cut 2 bristles off the brush of mischievous mint because they were sticking out & making it even harder to apply. There shouldn't be bristles sticking out everywhere, their brushes on some are really bad lately. Mine are going back, I love the colors but it shouldn't take this much work for a polish & it still doesn't go on the best. I did find yesterday at Target an excellent dupe for Ice Cream Cake, it's Revlons top speed in Cupid. So close in color ICC is just a tad lighter. The Revlon one went on great & only $4.99.

Once again it's been awhile since I posted but I always check out what you guys are loving & what not. I have to thank you because I got CYY & I wasn't even thinking about it until I saw it on people. I LOVE it, such a fun color!!! Loving the l/s in this collection & the Sakura blush. Thanks to all of you for awesome descriptions & swatches which is always so helpful!

well that sucks about the nail polish brushes. i was considering getting MM and LGT to compare with the sally hansen and opi polishes, but now no way. i have enough random wonky brushes in random lip glosses (yes i am calling you out Josie Maran gloss), and having them in a polish would drive me crazy!

[/quote]Thank you so much! I adore CYY and providing my lips are well moisturised before hand it doesn't seem to accentuate any lip cracks plus it seems to last for an AGE!! I also can't believe how universal it is on so many of us - it's awesome ;)

Mine says delivered but im not home :S i hope they didnt leave it in the mailbox (ppl steal from there) :(


EDIT I called my roommates like crazy lol to ask if they saw the box!!!!!! and one of them saw two black boxes!!!!!!

PLEASE God bring pins to my life (I spent literally a total of 153+15=168)... If i dont get pins me be maaaaaaaaad

I did cut off a stray hair from my Mischievous mint polish. I remember some other MAC nail polish from the past had a few stray hairs as well. You have to apply thinly (the first coat will look streaky) then let it dry, then apply second time and possibly a third time. In the end, the color is very even and nice. This is how I apply my polishes anyways so it isn't a problem.

I came across another bright matte pink lip product today, and I was wondering how it might compare to Candy Yum Yum. It's NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa. It's much brighter than Revlon's Stormy Pink, and is rather like MAC's Kissable Lip Colours (but a much smaller tube).

I wish I could've got some pins =(
But I ordered from Macy's....the company that doesn't individually wrap each makeup item and just throws the product in a bubble wrap mailer, hoping for the best

Even though candy yum yum stains my lips, i still love it. The color is so freaking bright neon pink. Woot. Even my mum LIKES this color...and I've come to an greement to share this lipstick between the both of us as this color is Out of stock at every counter in my country.... But i told her not to use it OFTEN as it is LE and i cannot get a replacement once it's finished unless MAC repromotes this color. I regretted not gettin an extra for Candy yum yum :(

Playtime lipstick
Candy yum yum lipstick

IMHO, the stars of this collection has to be Candy yum yum lipstick and Sakura blush.

i noticed the brand that makes the pin designs was on the bottom of a few of them, and have been laughing at their illustrations this afternoon. stupid-love.com
