Thanks everyone for the complements

I decided to try Quite Cute lipstick and I <3 U plushglass today. It looks okay, but I think it will look better with my pink hair (I have to wear my wig today because my work doesn't approve of the pink

) So I'll try it again tomorrow when I have the day off. I'll post pics then again too.

As usual there's one flash and one regular natural lighting:

Seriously?! That sucks soooo much. Everyone in any country with a MAC counter or store should have the opportunity to get it! Do you think they really just didn't make enough of them because they thought it wouldn't sell or are they just mean?

I wondered what happened to your hair! I really love the pink, it makes me miss my pink hair so much! You look beyond amazing with the pink hair/pink lips combo!

And you pull QC off so well!

Oh well, I think they r doing this because
1) the wanna keep their buyers really committed and intense (so we buy all limited edition stuff like irrational beasts)
2) they sold their sold to the devil
3) they wanna piss me off
4) they have an arrangement with evilbay and ATT (for all the calls we make to find it)
5) they discovered the neonness of it has a special pseudocryptonite poisoned substance that will kill us all
6) they just didnt expect these lippies would be "wearable" by the general public

its not neon... just really bright and awesome. except for the part where you have to exchange it for a kidney, a first born, or the queen of England's last egg.

you are hilarious! I think it might be true, for how bright it is, it can't be healthy!

I live in Germany and we only got the collection today. That's why it shocked me so much that they don't come to Spain, because when I visit my boyfriend in Marbella, it is seriously like makeup wonderland with all the brands and shops we don't have here.. I'm so glad I didn't have to sell my firstborn for it

Maybe I'll stop by the shop tomorrow to look if they're sold out already. If they still have one would you be interested in me getting it and then sending it to your mom in Spain? Shipping is not that much if it's just inside europe, and the lipstick is 18 euros, here or there..

Try the West Coast (CA) Nordstrom's, that's where the the beauty consultant told me she a lot of stock at but didn't tell me what counter.

Well it can be bright or you can make it softer, but either way, its still pretty. I don't know if I would call it neon, brighter pigmented yes. Neon makes it sound old school tacky, which it is not.

I've been a crazy person today, so I just read this. SO did you get one??? Even with shipping, its still cheaper than ebay

I have to admit, when I see it in the tube it looks like a highlighter pen (not prep-prime highlighter, but actual text-marking-thing). But I think because it's matte, it's bright but very, very wearable. Even my conservative mom likes it. And then of course you can add gloss for an extra pop..

And Piarpreet, yay! I'm happy you tracked down another one. For some people it might seem crazy to track down a lipstick like that, but I mean, how many people are hunting for antiques? And why do they want them - because they're pretty and they aren't made anymore. Same goes for any LE or dc'd item. Have fun with it!

[/quote] The pink is my real hair dyed plus human hair extensions dyed pink. Any other color you see is one of the various wigs that I have that I wear to work

i find it pretty neon on myself actually....it seems from seeing it on different people that it really depends on your own skintone and lip pigmentation.
i've tried it with a few different liners, and haven't found something that quite works...yet
