MAC - Cinematics / Colorization Discussion

egggghhh... They are all so boring. Pass for me!

I was originally attracted to MAC because of the bold colors, stayed for the fairly consistently good quality but lately most of their collections have been booooooriiiing. I have been spending most of my beauty budget on MUFE because of this. :-(

The duos remind me of traveling collections, and as such, they might be quite useful. I really hope that MAC adds empty duo palettes to their permanent range. They are perfect for a weekend trip! But please let us pick our own shades!

i agree.. it seems to be more travel-friendly.. i agree that the colours are rather dull..

it all depends i guess. christine has been making up a swatch gallery and the inglot eyeshadows all look so amazing!

Here's a quick pic of the brushes from my copy of Instyle...sorry for the glare on the powder brush, but it's purple.



From top to bottom: 227SE, 219SE, 266SE, 224SE, 129SE. I believe these are part of the Cinematics All Over Brushes brush set. I don't normally touch SEs but these just look too fun to pass up.

Thanks for the picture! This is the only thing I'm interested in the collection. I didn't have any of those brushes (and I want all of them!). Let's see if I liked the quality of it... I'm not usually too fussy with the SEs if I didn't have the full version.

I hate that it is in West London, such a pain to get to from my area of London. They should launch an online store to make it more accessible to the whole country.

Are there any color descriptions for the international duos yet? The names sound much more exciting than the regular duos.

The most recent Allure magazine also has a picture of the brushes in it. They are listed as a Nordstrom exclusive and part of the cinematics collection. So maybe cinematics refers to the Nordstrom exclusive part?

I still am not excited at all by the eyeshadow duos. Maybe something better from this collection will show up?

I've decided not to look for a CP for the eyeshadows I want from the international part.... Not worth the trouble.

This collection is so boring to me. But, I do love the idea of the duos instead of quads. I wish I could customize my own with the international shadows. I can dream....

The only thing I am excited about is that they are bringing Purple Dash technakohl back. I use it as a lip liner since MAC doesn't make a purple l/l.

EDIT: I guess this has been perm for awhile so now I won't get anything from this collection.
