I'm really curious about the tinted primers... Has anyone tried them our yet or is everyone waiting for the end of the September flurry of collections?

My MAC order hasn't gone through yet and I ordered monday night. They said it might not until tomorrow. That's a first, they never take that long!

So how do the powders compare to MUFE? I have been looking for a cheaper alternative to the MUFE HD powder.

I actually liked it quite a bit! I hope this will be permanent because its difficult to overdo, and it give you a velvety layer. I'm big on matte finishes :p so... it's my thing. And NOT white at all (unlike looose which depending on how much u wanna work on it sometimes u get the powder face).

I took a picture (and hey, i was quite generous with the powder to "test" its ability to photograph well) here it is. (sorry for repeating picture from semi precious but i took advantage of the products i just got today and used many at a time :p)

I don't know why it was slow this time around but it went out at 1:30pm on tuesday. So I won't see it until same day next week.

please compare illuminate to BB and strobe , i would like to hear your opinion

Will do once I have tested them for some time. I don't want to give a hasty review, especially as I want to see how they hold up over the duration of the day. Right now, it's very humid where I live, so it might be a while before I can properly give a review. Let's hope the humidity goes down soon.

thats not yellow enough to "neutralize"

It's just a primer and it won't provide much coverage. For example, if you are "lobster-red," it might make skin less bright, but you will still look red, though more toned down. It is just the first step of several stages to counterbalance any color-problems. If you tend to have blotchy, red skin, it might be worth getting the Set Powder in "Soft Yellow" to finish your look. You probably have tried the set powder, right?

Personally, I do love the color-correcting set powders. So for me, the color-correcting primers are just an added asset to my routine, depending what kind of look/mood I want to create. I'm a big fan of the Lilac Set Powder as well as Dusty Rose (all for different purposes).
