^ whitepepper.. there are SOOOOO many names from sooooo many companies which are similar/exact or overlap. There is no legal limitation on naming items.. i.e. if you look up or google Peachykeen.. you will be astonished.

Fervent is a name which has been used by other companies as well as Illamasqua, it is not unique or original.... regarless of the product's validity.

^^ I bought three refill pans of Strada about a year ago..but since it was totally dcd, I don't think there are any more around.

the varied descriptions of Strada illustrate how we all view mu.. one person's bronze is another person's taupe, grey or brown.. lol. It is so subjective and that is what makes it so interesting.

that said.. JUST BUY STRADA!! It is one of the best contour/shaders for the face and you will use it a lot in the coming years.

How similar is Strada to Taupe blush?
I have the pan of Strada and I hopefully won't need it from this collection. I saw last week that Taupe Pro pan was available but now is out of stock, and I was thinking of getting that if it becomes available again.

I have a full sized Strada so since its pricey I can pass and get something else. But yes it is AWESOME. If you are a paler lady you NEEEEED this blush
I'm going to try and pass but think I want at least one thing. I'm interested in the grey nude and lavender gloss. Maybe even the grey piggy. The polishes sound nice but I'm def not paying 22$ for one.

So...... eeeeeeee!!!! Long time no see everyone! I've missed you all SO much! I'll be back posting in moderation (I won't be back spamming and annoying you guys senseless ) and probably won't be buying much, but the speculation is half the fun anyway, right?

This is one of the collections I'm most excited to see! And I may just be able to pick myself up a little something since it'll be out around my birthday.... I wish less of it sounded promising!

I ALWAYS listen to HG (love you!!) so if I get anything, it'll likely be Strada....

But, on the one hand, I'm also drooling over the prospect of these lovelies:

Guise p/m
Elude b/p (I will be able to afford this IN MY DREAMS)
Strada p/b (as stated before )

.....and all of the polishes. But I won't be blowing any possible MAC money on polishes after a VERY long summer of selling off my whole collection and having no money for new stuff. XD

Everyone who has changed their avatars since I left (there are a lot of you!) look awesome, and singer82, my fellow purple fiend!, congrats on the wedding! It totally slipped my mind or I would have logged on sooner to congratulate you. <3 *kisses*

Got some news about the packaging on this collection from my MA back from training. He didn't get too detailed, but the packaging hearkens back to the original couture collection with the square/rectangular shapes and jewel encrustations.

Also, MAC's going to put the complete promotional video for the collection up on the official youtube channel for the public - this is the inspiration video that gets shown in training. They don't normally make these available to the public but they want to promote the heck out of this collection (at least when the time comes). It's not up yet, but keep an eye out. 'Should be pretty soon.

He was actually pretty blah about the other collections, feeling really been there, done that about them. I was a little surprised and asked him if he just happened to be in a blah mood while he was at training. He kind of laughed and said it felt like a lot of repromotes. He was definitely most impressed with Gareth Pugh out of all of them.

Its really cool! But I only like the circular ones that fit in my make up drawer. I dont think its worth the money. Maybe I will be skipping strada after all if its in weird square packaging.

I actually really like the simple packaging, I'm glad it's nothing like last years Marcel Wanders collection, personally I just wouldn't want to deal with a powder that was really awkwardly shaped, square packaging I'm fine with
