ahah under that article there is my negative comment (I've written it through facebook) because prices were tooo wrong! They said that mascara would have cost 10 euro and the most higher price in the collection would have been 55 euro O____o after my comment they have changed them.. of course prices are higher!

Yes, this is a perfect description, thank you for that. It's the perfect "whatever you need" powder for NC20's and lower. It keeps the "death warmed over" look away.

the polishes look awesome from the bottle but i am hoping they won't be dissapointing.

Until I see swatches I'm not getting anything. Honestly i don;t think Mac is really doing all that great on their collections lately. The last collection that really full out grabbed me was Peacocky, that was an amazing collection.

Whenever companies take this long to release products for review/ swatching, I start to get nervous. It reminds me of the film industry- when producers know they have a real turkey on their hands, they don't let critics see it in advance of the release date, so they have less time to spread the word. I'm hoping that this isn't the case, because, from the descriptions, it sounds like there are a few things I'd like and it may be that they did a small enough run that they don't want to waste any on promotional samples, but it does make me wonder.

I agree with you katred! I'm getting a tad nervous. Everything looks amazing though and I do hope the quality is great especially for the prices.

I think this is a pretty niche collection and MAC's decided to spend the money on the fancy in-store displays with video to lure impulse shoppers, rather than rely on cosmetics bloggers who are inevitably going to bring up the extra cost as compared to the colors, which have some unique but difficult things and some relatively standard vampy colors that you could find for cheaper.

I, for one, am looking forward to getting a few things, but overall, this collection reminds me of Riveting, but more expensive - sort of dicey to do a really rock 'n roll collection at a designer price point. Even if Gareth Pugh is one of the most interesting designers around, he's not a household name - even McQueen was better known at the time he did his MAC collaboration.

I do hope that I end up impressed, despite the fact that it would be hell on my pocket book. I can certainly see why it would remind you of Riveting although, oddly, I find it even more extreme. Riveting had a couple of elements that were designed for more mass appeal (like True Babe l/g), whereas this one seems edgier. I loved Riveting and I actually bought all the lip products from it- lipsticks and glosses- but I agree with you that it is a bit risky to go with a challenging colour palette on an expensive collection. We'll see if it pays off for them.
