Agreed. I had been following the news about this because the polish in the bottles looks out of this world, but they just didn't translate well to the nail. Too bad, because I would have bought all 3 if they had.

I'm actually really digging the packaging here. I rarely get into the couture collections because I don't have a fs store up here and I generally hate buying without testing. But this collection might change that for me. The only thing I'm not excited about is the lipgloss packaging. I've never been a fan of the square tubes. They're so hard to get anything out of!

I am really loving the look of Vacant l/g. And I love the gloss packaging so I'm def getting that!
I also want Ascension n/l. I love silver/grey nails, I love that this one is a softer silver/grey than a lot of n/p's I get in this color family. Not to mention the subtle purple and green in it. Plus I love the bottle. And I think it's different enough from wicked game and greys anatomy. I dont always not get something just because theres a dupe, theres always slight differences. Hyper is pretty but I have Orlys Lunar Eclipse so I'm good with that.
Everything else is passable. I dunno, I thought I'd want more, but I really am trying to only get stuff I know I'm going to wear. And that I really really want. I already have Strada, but I use the blush a lot so I wouldnt mind having a BU. Plus I really want something with the compact packaging. But I'll have to wait to get it with the holidays and everything, hopefully it will still be around.

Skip... Overpriced and nothing amazing looking. A lot is dupeable too, maybe not exactly but enough. The purple pigment looks like a bruise IMO so that is a no go for me, I have enough purple around my eyes as it is. The nail polishes are disappointing to me, I don't see enough duochrome in them to bother paying that much. I've got so many bottles of polish that I can't justify buying something I don't love any more. Plus there is no guarantee that I am going to have a job next month, my company is making redundancies in two weeks...

I'm LOVING the look of Strada - not loving the price. -- I'm apparently NC15 -- will this be more of a contour shade or a blush shade? (I'm not bothered either way, just curious!)
I keep being told it's discontinued, and then I get told it's available to buy from the PRO shop if you call and order it?
Can anyone in the UK tell me which it is as I seriously do not want to buy it in this packaging for less product.
Also, sounds silly - but can someone give me the number for MAC Pro over here? I'm moving this week so I can say bye-bye to my internet until Dec. 12th and would like to make sure I have the number to call and order it lol!

I'm unsure if it is available at PRO over here, I would assume that it is though. I might go to the PRO store on Saturday and check. This is what it says on the website for Mail Order:

That's the point! I really love the packaging... but Am I going to use a pale lipstick? Things that I really like are:
strada but it's a third of the product T___T
deceit half of the produt

Lipglasses are cute. Now I think I should go for Elude (although the price) because maybe I can refill it once is finished (I can't do that with strada)... I still have to see swatches. I'm afraid to regret missing the packaging of lips stuff... but I won't use them so often to justify the price!!

The only thing I might get is the light purple lipglass, but even that's a maybe. I'll just get the Deborah Lippmann nail polish and skip the others since I have Orly Lunar Eclipse (and the DL one is 15 ml instead of 9 ml for pretty much the same price by the looks of it). Or maybe just get the Wet n Wild dupe for a lot less money.

Im still really keen on the Vacant Lipglass and the Restrict Lipstick. I know they wont sell out this close to christmas so im thinking of taking my chances and waiting until Xmas is done and then grabbing one of these. If I was to choose 1 of these products then it would have to be the Restrict Lipstick. There are no CCO over here in Australia where I live so its a matter of timing the purchase correctly... grr but I want it now... decisions decisions!!!
But I know me... if im undecided like this, chances are, I will just buy it and not wait

I liked the light purple lipglass but I have Docile which is similar although not as purple. I don't need this one, it is just a waste to buy it for me as I wear lipstick way more than gloss. That was the only thing I liked from this collection. I'd rather save money for Iris, Daphne and the new MSFs/MES.The only thing I might get is the light purple lipglass, but even that's a maybe. Do you know if we can get Wet n Wild in the UK? I've looked before but with no luck... other than Ebay.
