hey lou, I know this is off the subject, but given where you are from have you had any experience with illamasqua (or any one else for that matter??)

kind of keen to try but really hard to as I havent seen anything of theres.

i have only really used one of there loose beauty powders which is really nice. however i haven't had anything else so i can't really help this time their lip glosses are meant to be amazing though!


right i am back home tonight and quickly sorting a couple of bits out here on specktra and then i shall make my order on this collection - it's been a long wait!

Hi beauties, you know who you are

Swatched with the 239. Due to the multi-chrome shimmer (Obscura) and the sheen (Ardent), it's very hard to capture it in a photograph. You can see the beauty of the metallic sparkle, but it's even more divine IRL. I'm sure there are photographers out there you can provide better images.

My life is almost 26 years long....and that is the funniest movie I have ever seen in my whole entire life. trust me. it's worth watching. Its avail in more languages than french... In Spain everybody knows about it and for some stupid reason, since the main character did hollywood, I thought it was a classic movie here too.

I AM going to track it down! It's just the kind of movie I love! My favorite movie of all time is Labyrinth, and it's definitely close to as crazy as your movie clip from YouTube! And I did recognize that actor, he's really good.

omg with bowie!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the labrynth. I used to watch it in spanish as a kid like at least once a week lol. I know spanish lines" no tienes poder sobre mi"(you have no power over me) hahaah i used it with my mom and she told me "Do I look like the type that would wear tight leotards, while holding balls?" hahaha "So go clean your room and shut up".

You need to see the visitors. it's slapstick 90's and if you know ur basics about medieval Europe... u'll crack up... I think this comedy is better understood by Europeans mostly cos some jokes ely on knowing about novelty/royalty/feudalism...ethnic groups (like sarracene is a muslim person from northern africa that belonged to a warrior like community and tried invading France, they did invade most of Spain but the French make jokes about sarrasins not stopping at the pyrenees you know? lol) and stereotypes of the era (women, the church)....etc.... but even if you dont get them all it's a crazy crazy crazy crazy movie. I laughed when I was real tiny and I didnt know most of what the jokes meant. It's really fun. If you do watch it let me know if you liked it

Well I caved and ordered GP goodies from MAC online. I was starting to panic b/c they are sold out at my local Nordies & MAC freestanding, and I was afraid that I would miss them. Plus I wanted to order MPP before that disappears.

I ended up with both glosses, restrict, elude, and the brush. My initial thoughts. I love both glosses, but then I am a gloss hoarder. I can never have enough gloss. Elude is nice & flattering on my skin. I am still not convinced that it is $60 worth of nice, but I will try it a few more times. The brush I am still debating about. I know that in the end I will keep it. I just need to get over spending so much $$ on one brush. I am not a fan of restrict at all. This is based on a couple of quick applications on my way out the door. I suppose that I will really need to play with this to make it work, but restrict is my only "wish I had not ordered it" purchase so far.

I may try the shadows as well. Hopefully my local MAC or Nordstroms has those in stock. I also like the pigments, but paying so much for so little product is keeping me from buying.

As the GP 182 is just $10.50 more expensive than the regular 182, I find it very good value. As the Marcel Wanders brush from last year was 75 bucks, I was pleasantly surprised that the GP one was "only" $60. If you take good care of it, you will have it for a very long time. Enjoy, it's a high quality product.

Sorry to hear that you don't like Restrict. What is it that you don't like about it? The color or the finish?
