Thanks so much GlamQueen21! I'll have to get it Quick Sizzle then!

Hopefully my mac gets more stock of it because I just called and they said they sold out at the party and haven't received any shipment!
Your welcome and I do hope your MAC store will have plenty of stock of the lipsticks!

Don't forget WMS is coming out with the So Reel collection in March!!! Keep a good eye out for it when that collection launches!!!
Wow! I had no idea. So I guess I really am lucky to have found those 2 products. I wonder why they did that. Actually, I would have been pretty upset if I went on launch day and everything was sold out.

I completely agree. I kinda feel like I'm never going to get my mitts on Watch Me Simmer-- and that's the only lipstick I was interested in!

...maybe I should just try and find out what the dupe for this would be and save myself the hassle of being disappointed!
I also see on Nordstrom they are out of WMS(if you add it to cart it says no longer available. Also I don't see Quick Sizzle listed? Is that sold out already? I'm really surprised that the inventory for this collection is so low, usually the Feb collections are huge & stick around for a while

I feel like they are going to restock all of this, even if mac live help says they won't

So I was actually going to get some stuff from this after being absent from the MAC scene for so long, I mainly wanted to buy a boatload of my beloved Tendertones, but 2 lippies caught my eye and their already flippin' sold out on Nordies! >.< Some things haven't changed lol! *sigh* -_-

I cannot believe that all the lipsticks but Runaway Red are sold out online! I'm glad I ordered Dish It Up lipstick last night. I'm now thinking if I should get Innocence, Beware l/s.

i can because the lipsticks are all fabulous!! but it does suck for those who missed out :(

Did anyone else notice that the Kissable Lip Colors are listed as $15 on Nordstrom? That's $4 cheaper than the MAC site! I wonder if/when they'll catch it...

I placed an order on Nordy's for a BU of Naughty Saute and I gave in and purchased Innocence, Beware. Yay for an awesomely-timed Nordstrom Note!

I have to say I was apprehensive about Watch Me Simmer - I usually don't do bright flourescent orange type colors. But now I can see why it sold out so quickly!
I gave in since it's a coral and decided to splurge with my first MAC order.... Now I wish I had a BU! I got loads of compliments on it today - It definitely pulled more pink with my lips, even with the opaque coverage of its amplified finish. Excuse the "mug shot" lol, but I took a portrait in natural daylight while I was on my break at work (hence the polo shirt and hair pulled back)... I'm so glad it's going to be re-promoted with So Reel/So Sexy!

Looks like the "holding back on getting bloggers their products for swatches" technique worked nicely for MAC! Add that to the TONS of people that stalked this new collection because they missed out on the bright Iris lippies, and MAC is onto something here... They really pushed everyone into "impulse buy" mode! Not to mention even MORE hype for the next new launch with Reel! Frustrating but GENIUS!

I missed out on the lippies I wanted... Even though I had access to the early PRO site release, because I was trying to (for the 1st time) be patient and wait for swatches. Guess I won't be making THAT mistake again! Ahhhh! HeeHee
I did get a nice haul anyways, so I'm happy. I really do hope all this early releasing and no swatches didn't make too many people miss out on what they wanted!

Lady, we need to talk. This is the second lipstick you talk me into in one day ;) Love the lipstick on you, I'll definitely try it out, even though Genial was a mess on me as was TT, no pink whatsoever. Maybe the Amplified finish makes it more wearable?

That marketing strategy can be also dangerous, since you are taking the risk of making people frustrated, tired and eventually sick of this "stalking MAC website/store/counter" game. For the time I have been buying cosmetics, this is the only brand I've seen that play around with their customers. I am most certain that, even when MAC releases a lot more LE collections that other brands, the profit in each collection compensates plenty the "potential" lost of money of unsold products if they'd increase the stock. That would be in the hypothetical case in which that stock would end up in the stores' displays eventually, not being sold, which let me tell you, it is highly improbable!

Being said that, duck rodeo ... you look amazing in every single look you post! =D

It certainly seems to have worked this time. Of course, I also think that the products in this collection are exceptional. I think that the risk is that after people go through a few launches this way, they'll get burnt out and turn to other brands. I do think that they will get some benefit, because certain beauty bloggers will still be able to get product from Pro stores in advance of the full launch, but I don't know how viable this is as a long term strategy. I missed out on all the Iris Apfel lippies and although I could make a point of going out tomorrow to swatch/ test these ones, I really resent being pressured to do so. So I've come to the decision that if I miss some things, I miss them. I'll find something else I like from another brand.

I am happy that there are certain products, particularly the eye shadow quads, that just never seem to sell out quickly. At least those of us who like them can buy those at our leisure.

Not to enable you but I LOVE Innocence Beware, one of my all time favorite nudes! I was going to wait to get this in person, but the way the lipsticks are selling I just placed an order! Wanted to BU Quick Sizzle but it's already sold out on Nordies! I might venture out to MAC since NYC stores have the collection.

LOL. They caught us by surprise!

I don't think that the early release made people miss out. In fact, I felt stock lasted longer this time.

Wow that looks amazing on you! I was worried it would be orange on me but I love the way it looks on you... I may pick it up when it comes out with Reel Sexy. I hope it won't sell out as quickly with that collection, as many may have already picked it up.

OK I will consider getting Innocence, Beware l/s. I do hope Quick Sizzle l/s will be restocked online so you can back it up. I plan to back up Watch Me Simmer.

Okay, next time I am not waiting for swatches. By the time I was able to access the collection, the Pepto Bismol color was sold out. Oh well, it probably would have looked like crap on me anyway. Anybody thinking they will restock?

Anyone can compare the purple fluidline to ash violet???

Don't see why they wouldn't restock.

restocking hardly happens if ever. the only time they restock has been if they had an excess of a certain amount of product like they did this past holiday season with Viva Glam GAGA 1 they sent the extras to the counters that weren't in the sets. its very very rare that their will be a refresh of product for this collection as you all know if you want it you gotta stock the site and get it. remember its usually up on pro a week before the actual launch . so the people in the US who have a pro card order a week before the rest of the public so its not uncommon that that product once it becomes public will have a very limited quantity online. as for in store. numbers are the factor for how much product each location gets. it depend on how much that counter makes per year how much inventory they currently have and how much of a sell through from the collections before. mac factors all this in and that is how products are distributed.

Duckrodeo you look fabulous!!! Are you wearing a gloss with WMS or is it that slick on its own? I'm so glad I ordered one, my little black box should be here today but I work second shift tonight. I can't wait to play with my goodies tomorrow!
