I finally tested this collection at my local store. I'm in love with the formula... didn't expect to like it based on the description. Asian Flower is soooooooooooooooo pretty... looking like my spring colour

i'm still undecided on if i actually want to try one of these glosses. then pen seems to be a bit of a pain.... plus they all seem to be kind of sheer and i much prefer glosses to look good on their own rather than over lipstick because i rarely wear a gloss over lipstick!!

Is Asian Butterfly anything like the discontinued lustreglass Little Vi? I'm down to my last backup and have yet to find a dupe

This collection looks lovely! There are a few of the lipsticks and a few of the glosses that I had my eye on, but I rarely actually buy MAC, I already own so much. But I had a $5 coupon for The Bay today, so I picked up Imperial Red gloss. Usually I don't like brush applicators, but these didn't seem too bad, and the formula and colour are gorgeous!!! I might eventually pick up Zen Rose or Insanely It.

Anyway, my question is - is Zen Rose similar to Dish It Up? It seemed like it when I swatched it. I love Dish It Up, but I'm not sure I need another lipstick that's too similar.

I'm thinking about giving one of these a try. Which one is the most golden bronze?
Of the glosses, I'd say go for Sweet Bean, which is mostly clear but has lots and lots of golden and red sparkle, or try Moon Beach, which has more base color, but paler sparkle.

Overall, I think the formula feels really great on the lips and I like the click brush, but all the colors are a little too sheer and safe for my taste - I only got Mango Sheen, and while I do like it and use it quite a bit, it's really only best for really plain daytime looks when you don't want to call attention to your lips but still want to be wearing something. If I get another, it'll be Black Tea, but it's not like I need another one drastically in my life (I'm a strong lip + downplayed eyes person, as opposed to strong eyes + simple lip gal. Your mileage may vary).

Zen Rose is very close to Narcissus c/s/g in color, rather than to Dish It Up. I really like the Sheen Supreme lipsticks and my top 3 favorite colors of them are Sheer Mandarin, Full Speed and Zen Rose. Zen Rose is also a LE color, so it might not be a bad choice, if you think you will get plenty of wear out of a springy magenta/lilac shade...it's definitely got a blue hint to it, if that is a factor. It's not as blue or as bright as Playtime lipstick, just for more comparisons.

Thanks for the awesome answer! I think I may have to find a way to pick this up soon. I don't really have anything purple-ish except Dish It Up, not even a gloss. I'm also fair with cool skintone, so I think this would work :) Thanks again!

Love some of the glosses but decided to pass because I don't like the click-pen kind of applicator. I really don't need more glosses anyway. :\

Just tried Zen Rose for the first time -- AMAZING. Definitely not like anything I have.

Well, Cherry Fest was sort of boring until I layered it over Pink Pigeon and it accidentally picked up some of the pigment into the bristles. Now it is a lovely light pink gloss with silver shimmer. By itself, I could barely see it. The silver shimmers are nice for layering though.

Sweet Bean is a very lovely color. If Trax e/s came in gloss form, this would be it. Its a light plummy color with golden sheen. It layers really well over purple lipsticks and over nudes to make them look cooler.

The click part is a little annoying. One pen was working after 15-20 clicks, the other took almost 50 before it starting putting out product. I love the hygienic aspect, but it is hard to control the amount you get.

I could end up getting more of these, but I want the more pigmented versions the next time I order.

The formula is nice, moisturizing and no stickiness like lipglass. I can;t really say it lasts much, my lips soak it up!
