At least you will never run out of it, right? LOL

I hate this having to buy quickly before things run out. It makes for so many frustrating decisions. :(

Geez, that sure is frustrating! I hope after all of this we don't just hate the highlighters and want to return them!
Bwahaha I hope too! I just got an email from MAC, it's too late to change my order but they said I can return it if I don't like it.

The problem is that then we have to pay postage to return them, but these are expensive enough it would be worth it. I just hope I like these!
They seem promising.

Humm yeah, if I don't like it I will probably resell it instead of returning it.

It will be worth keeping both as the e/s are slightly more pigmented than the s/f. It really depends how you want to use them. If you just need a highlighter, you might just need Sweet Heat and blend it out. For all-over glow, I would stick to the s/f. I also find that the s/f have a bit more "slip," so they are not ideal for the lids, though you certainly can make them work.

Aww thank you for your help, you made me feel better about my purchase. :)

Even though it looks uber metallic....I still really want Whisper of Gilt. I'm attracted to all soft white golden glow products. Hah....but hopefully when I see
the shadows I'm not interested. I might nab up one and stop myself there. Can't go crazy after Shop Cook I depleted a small fortune.

I'm going to skip this collection. I ordered some really nice goodies today. I got the Sleek acid pallete and NYX Milk Jumbopencil and i ordered a couple of MUFE shadow refills (#5, #9, #26, #153 and #159), a MUFE pallete that fits 10 shadows and one Star Powder (#951). So i have enough new shadows for now and i can skip these. I'm still happy with all my SP MSFs so i'm going to save money and skip the EDSFs. I also don't really need the brushes and this collection will only be available at Douglas here, so i would have to travel over an hour to get something from this collection.

Yes! Thats why I didn't get Surperb SF because I only wanted it for a highlighter and it would have been a waste for me to get Surperb just to highlight my cheeks when I can swipe Sweet Heat and blend out and get the exact same look.

Like MAC-GUY stated if you're not going to use the SF for all over, contouring, etc. then you should probably skip because you won't be getting your monies worth.
So could I use Sweet Heat on my face as a highlighter?

Last night I went to the MAC store and swatched a bunch of things and placed an order for one MSF, 4 MES and a bunch of the new blushes. This morning I went through my ginormous MU collection and called back and cancelled it all. I just can't justify constantly buying from collections just because they are limited edition when I have so much to get through and really want to taper my collection down to about 1/3rd the size it is. The eye shadows are gorgeous, very pigmented, very metallic looking. What a sheen. I do wonder about fall out. Same with the MSF in Superb. Gorgeous, but not as finely milled as my Guerlain, so no problem with cancelling them. I doubt I will wear them much. Then came the blushes from the Tres Cheek collection. Pretty, not as satin looking as I expected, some very pale and washed out even against my pale skin. I ended up hauling from Chanel and B&BW's, Zoya and have some goodies I want with the Sephora VIB event coming up! Enjoy the collection, ladies!
