I'm so glad with my picks now as I have read some comments on them. :) I got Blue orbit, Grand Galaxy and Young Venus which are getting rave reviews. :)

really excited to actually feel the formulation of these shadows/msfs.
I went to the Nordies and Macy's websites and then back to MAC because the EDES were not sold out and had Havana and Rich Core in my cart and said to myself, "Just stop." Going back for more is always a bad idea! The was a logical reason I skipped those in the first place after all. And doing a second order is really dangerous, because of all the unexpected stuff that jumps in your cart. I guess Skipper's Remorse is less dangerous than Multiple Order Wallet Emptying Syndrome!

Saw these in person today. These shadows are amazing. I do think Blue Orbit, Grand Galaxy and Modern Pewter are the stars of the shadows.

The EDSF are worth the hype. Can't rave enough about how gorgeous and complex these are.
I'm glad to hear this. I pre-ordered those 3 plus Warm Thunder and WoG EDSF.

At first, I only wanted one EDSF and was going to choose between Superb and Whisper of Gilt....then I convinced myself that I could maybe buy TWO of them - but one of each? Or choose one and buy a backup?

Now, I'm on the fence about buying ALL THREE. My wallet hates me. I really want to narrow it down to two at the most, but am still trying to see which would work best w/ my NC 25/30 skin....

I have this syndrome. I already went back for Heroine, MM, and PP, and I'm trying not to buy Superb. I must remind myself that I am a very pale girl who in no way desires to look tan. Superb was not made for me. I may go back and get an eyeshadow or two, but to be fair, I was thinking of doing that anyway.

Going back for seconds or thirds always becomes more expensive than just buying everything in a single haul and then move on. Happy ordering everybody.

I just wrote my review (french) for Whisper of Gilt Highlighter:

I might be the only one here, but I just don't care for these powders. I prefer my beauty powders.

Mac-Guy what's in your picture? Just curious - it looks cool.

The only thing I ordered was Modern Pewter. I adore Dalliance so I wasn't leaving this one behind. I want to see Glorify in person. How does a chocolate girl like me apply these EDSF?

Are there any comparison swatches of Modern Pewter and Cloudy Afternoon MES? I know MP is probably more green, but I'd still like to see them side by side.

only ordered superb skin finish - modern pewter and grand galaxy e/s.....i dont remember what blog i was reading - but one of the girls compared superb SF to that sold out in like 3.4 seconds laura mercier rose rendezvous highlighter (which btw is going for $170 on ebay from one seller - insane) and they look pretty close...if any of you ladies have both superb msf and the laura mercier rose rendezvous highlight...could you please tell me what your thoughts are on the two..if they are in fact similar

ty (again) for also comparing whisper of gilt to amber diamond...from the picture i can tell there is a slight difference in color and sheen...not much...but your opinion - how different is amber diamond from whisper of gilt...and dare i ask which you like better...lol

I just wrote my review (french) for Grand Galaxy eyeshadow:

im so interested in cornflower pigment...what do you pair it with? not bad what you spent...funny how i have the gulf to walk into sephora tonight ...got my 15% vib card..cant let that go to waste..that would be a crime/sin

SO glad I hopped on specktra just now. Love you ladies! After going back and forth for weeks now. I chose Lunar, Grand Galaxy, Modern Pewter, Blue Orbit (I have cornflower but its one of my fav piggies! Figured the shadow is easier to work with and I love the color so why not?) My total after all 3 colls was 159.49 Not as bad as I was imagining. Now time to sit tight until Hey Sailor.

I am trying to decide if I want to grab Modern Pewter. It is so gorgeous swatched and I don't have another shade like it. However I think it looks really close to my eye color and I am afraid it will look blah on me.

Maybe I should get Young Venus instead? I am NW15/N2 with greenish eyes and red hair.

What says Specktra?

Young Venus for contrast. However I say get what you love so you won't have any regrets. See it in person if possible...

I think you have answered your own question. YV is more dupeable I am betting, at least easier to dupe.

I have the same problem....I made an original list and decided that I only wanted superb and one shadow...I tried to convince myself that I already had very similar colors...ect..
Then I saw swatches and added a few more...then I went to the MAC site and a few of my items had already sold out....which kind of relieved me ....but I of course found a way around that and instantly ordered from nordies....geeze...I have an addiction...what the heck is a budget???I apparently forget how to apply this concept..lol

thats always been my downfall...have a list that i actually belive im gonna stick to...then the products become available..and it becomes all fuzzy from that point...and i go a little mad...
