I'm loving Watch Me Simmer..... is there something in the perm line similar to this? I hate loving LE lipsticks and not being able to find something similar.

Weirdly, Reel Sexy looks better blotted down on me than doing a full layer. I'm not sure why, but that seems to help it cover my lip color more closely. I do like it with Strange Potion l/g.

I find that a lot of amplified finishes look better blotted down than applied in a full layer. The latter one often results in unattractively thick layers of l/s that just look cakey.

The new LC's seem to be really veining-less, at least then ones at my store. Also the base color is more beige with yellow hues. I'm glad I stocked up on Bluescapades in the Fall.
I have 1 from the fall collection as well that I use often and is already flattening ,it has a lil Veining but I wanted a back up of something similar. I agree the latest re-promotes of the Msf's seem to have very lil to no Veining,I have the original Porcelian Pink msf from when it 1st came out, then got the last one,I think it was the fall collection as well? And the last one has very lil, almost no gold Veining .

I have to put amplified cream lippies with a brush other wise It would settle in my lines and look scary. I think it is due to the creamy texture.

I use a lip brush to for my amplified. When I do in a full sweep,it looks a lil dairy/scary on me. Not to mention, you actually save a lot of product by using a brush. Comes out nicely.

This is why Amplifieds are not my favorite finish. I don't totally dislike them, but I prefer these new matte formulas. I also like the Lustres. Cremesheens can drying, but aren't bad. I only have one Glaze (Hue) and one Satin (VGN), so I don't feel justified in making a judgement on those yet.

I'm wearing Heroine with Magenta liner. It's a bit much when worn alone, but blot it and it has this beautiful matte finish. Love it.

lol @ dairy . Idk if anyone caught that,auto-correct always writes the strangest things. I meant to write "cakey". Omg,i need to find a way to take this off,the other day on FB I commented on a long time friends new baby picture meant to write "awww.. Changed to Asses"? def not a good look. =-/

You might try Revlon's Fire & Ice. It's redder, but it has the same level of brightness on me (NW15).

You need Star Quality - it's beautiful & a definite sleeper hit, I'm not even usually into Cremesheen glasses that much, but I want a backup!

Sorry if anyone has asked this already, but when is this going to be out in the UK?

It's usually the first Thursday of every month and if I read it correctly it's supposed to be April.. Thursday has been and gone.. Lol. I'm not usually in such a rush for things but I really want to try Lightscapade and I know it'll sell out really quickly.

TIA

I think it's going to be next month - two months after Naturally like in the US, but we're a month behind.

I bought a travel lip brush from an on-line company a couple years ago that is really not good at all - the cap falls off when it's closed; trying to get the cap on after use tends to bend some of the hairs, and the fibers were not firmly packed enough for good control -- nothing like painting on lipstick and having the brush itself make smeared edges. I think they changed their lip brush since then and i haven't bought their newer one, so i won't mention their name.

Then i discovered a sack of my old makeup from the 60s and 70s, and in the stash i found a really nice retractable lipstick brush from the late 1960s, Revlon, back when they made higher quality stuff. It's in a "gold" metal case: when you push the cap onto the back end it slides the brush tip up and holds it in place, and when you take the cap off the back the brush slides back down into the tube, so no bending the fibers. I washed the natural hair bristles and let it dry; a day or two later i gave it a try, and it's the best! I have an excellent face powder brush from Revlon, too, from the late 60s or early 70s - well-shaped and well-balanced wooden handle, flat ferrule, soft soft natural hairs, and the edge is slightly rounded for great control and coverage.

None of the lipstick brushes i've looked at in the past couple years look great. I confess i haven't looked at the high end companies, though, so i may have missed a goodie. Sorry not to be more helpful.

When I tried it on I didn't notice any settling, I think the settling problem is more so with the light shades than with Star Quality and the wine colored one. I was going to get Star Quality but it looked too close to WMS on me.

Do you find it settles in to your lip lines at all? TIA!
