MAC Hey, Sailor! (Summer 2012) Discussion

Went to my local MAC and tested "Hey, Sailor". Just as i thought, nothing really for me there. I don't really wear bronzer, or red or orange lips, or kelly green eye products, or navy blue anything. I already have multiple gold eye liner pencils and gold eye shadows. I liked one lipglass (Blessedly Rich) and one lipstick (To Catch A Sailor), but i didn't have an "OMG, must go home with me" experience. And i just accidently found the collection already for sale on the UK MAC website.

Too bad UK MAC won't ship to the US because they've got several items from other collections i can no longer get over here.

No, but I am SERIOUSLY starting to think I need to already. *sigh*

I really need a BU of it. I have used mine so much the swirl part of it is starting to get smooth. Imma fly through it I know.

Maybe go ahead and order it then? Just to be on the safe side.

At least my cart contains only perm stuff, so I really should wait.

I hear ya. Have to take it easy on the one I have now. :(

I didn't feel the need to back up ANY of the ED e/s BUT this one. Oh well....life goes on. LOL!

You guys SCREAM at me if it pops back up again....MAYBE...fingers crossed.

We will only scream if you promise to order within 5 seconds of hearing us screaming.


Stalking the restocking of LE items will be a full-time job.

So yeah, now you guys REALLY know the reason why we make patients wait in the waiting room for a bit.

It's because your dental hygienist is logging onto the MAC site and ordering makeup!

Shellcat!!! OH NO! It did JUST sell out, because I checked not to long ago as well!
I had the most sinking feeling that would happen if I waited on the stuff in my cart!
I haven't even tried YV, so I have NO IDEA what I'm missing.... I'd be happy to send you mine if it would bring a smile to your face! You are the reason I broke down and got it anyways!
PM your address! I can't stand to see someone missing out on BU'ing an item they love that much!

I just called the MAC store in Macys and they were out. Tried my MAC store at the Galleria and out still. LOL. Will try the Village tomorrow, since they close at 7pm.

I won't take no for an answer! Look at it this way... If you hadn't enabled me to buy it, the one on its way to me might have been yours! LOL
And, like I said, I haven't tried it and was completely going to skip it! I'm serious... It's just an eyeshadow to me at this point. And you like it so much!
I may need a "good luck makeup fairy" one day.... and this will bring me some good karma!
I'll just look at my local counter... They always have stuff leftover no one else has. If it's meant to be, I'll stumble across it...
