Thanks for the recs. I don't have any of those, LOL. I've been wanting to get the 184 and 138 for a while, but they're both discontinued as far as I know. (I know the 138 isn't in other countries, but it is here)
I got Soft Sand and just quickly tried it today with the 129. I will have to try it with other brushes.

BTW the bronzing powder packaging is so cute!

I know both are discontinued, but they still had them in the pro store in Amsterdam. I think the 184 was a pro only brush and the 138 a freestanding store only, so if you have one of these close to you, you might be able to find them.
I love the bronzer packaging as well!

I just think YAY ......absolutely divine DynoPupBeauty!!!!
I did a makeup look today ladies using:

Feeling fresh in the crease
Barefoot eyeshadow patted on the lid
A blue eyeshadow as liner and under lower lid (I will be picking up Nautical Navy tomorrow!)
Soft Sand bronzer all over and as a contour
Fleet Fast Blush
Red Racer lipstick

I am NC42 color at MAC and I think Soft Sand is a lovely natural bronzer, I underestimated how beautiful and pigmented Fleet Fast blush is!- A must have in fact I think I need to back it up! Need to back up Red Racer tooo!!!!

What do you think? Yay or Nay?

Thank you ladies! Feeling Fresh can work in so many ways! I got stopped a few times yesterday about my eye makeup - Feeling Fresh really stood out with Barefoot and any blue eyeshadow.

I just got Jaunty and Nautical Navy put on hold at my local MAC - I don't know why I didn't pick these two up before but I wasn't sleeping thinking I might miss out so I'm going back to MAC lol!

Out of curiosity are there any dupes of Jaunty that can be found in Naked Palette 1 or 2? or from MAC? Or should I just buy the shade

YAY! They look lovely on you! If I remember correctly, you also purchased Sun Dipped PLW Bronzer? I'm an NC40 at the moment, but it won't be long until I'm an NC42 with summer around the corner. I'm curious to see how Sun Dipped would look on the face on skintones NC40 and up.

You look beautiful[/U!!!] Personally, I think Red Racer pulls the look together. Did u do a tutorial on this look? Is it in English? Because I need some serious tips on how to apply Bronzer. I'm a Bronzer virgin. BTW what did you use to highlight your eyes? Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I do have Sun Dipped, I haven't tried it out on the face but will wear it later on today and come back to let you know how I found it...but from the look of things I think it will warm me up and look sun kissed! I'll definitely let you know today

I saw this a while ago and I know that MAC Guy is NC20, which is what I am. This will be my 1st go with bronzers and I'm very light skinned so I don't want some uninterested, snooty or unhappy MUA slapping something on my skin that isn't going to look right IRL
I'm NW15-20 not NC20. :) Antique = Light olive, yellow, or brown undertones that makes the shade look "aged."
I do apologize MAC Guy, I guess I saw the 20 and blanked out after that...I just would like to have some clue of the Bronzer I should have my eye on when I go to the event. I know what I like and what I don't. But this bronzer business is uncharted territory to me, I don't want to get the wrong one. Sometimes I feel like these MUA want to just slap the MU on to make a sale and move on to the next customer, (except Susan). Thanks for answering my antique question. Would you say it's somewhat of a few-a-chrome??? TIA

Thank you so much! Your right Red Racer does pull the look together, that's why I included a photo without it on so you could see how the whole look appears. I haven't done a tutorial on this look but if you'd like me to let me know and I will!

Bronzer tips - if you want an all over bronzed look then you can apply it all over the face EXTREMELY lightly - you don't want to look well tango orange you want to look sun kissed, I use a fluffy bronzer brush apply bronzer along my cheek bones, foreheard and blend downwards towards my neck!
My other everyday application of bronzer is 'Contouring', where I apply bronzer on the hollows of my cheeks, sweeped lightly across my temples and sides of my forehead near my hair line, and around my jaw line to create angles. make sure to blend out the bronzer so it looks even.

I used barefoot e/s as my inner corner highlight and as a eye brow highlight I used Brule by MAC also.

Hope this helps, let me know if there is anything else xxxx

I have swatches and review up on my blog! The big review is written in Italian... you can transalte it through a plugin on my blog but it's not very accurate -_____- http://make-up-deer.blogspot.it/2012/05/mac-hey-sailor-reel-sexy-haul-swatches.html
Thanks for the link to your blog, Xasperadastra. The pictures are great and look good on you. Yesterday you posted the green eyeliner pic & I replied by saying it helped me cross it off my list. I thought about how mean that sounded, therefore let me explain. I am an eyeliner whore. I'll never use all my e/l before I go to the MAC store in the sky (is that what it's like? Please say so, except I want my whole family, my furkids & my DH)...sorry for the tangent. Therefore with all the greens I have I can't say it stands out in a special way to me...that is until I see it on the 24th. It all goes downhill when I see it in person. Thank you for listening to me babble.

Mac-Guy I allready have sun dipped but I am still debating on getting a backup from sun dipped or trying nude on a board. I am between NC15 and NC20 (most of the time NC20) and I need some advice :) I can't try them, I have to order online.
Hi Charles. I'm a NC20, do you feel that sun dipped doesn't over do it on you? This will be my 1st venture into bronzers so I don't want to get the wrong. TIA.

Xasperadastra, Would you mind translating this part about Riveria Life? TIA.

I'm tempted to back up Crew but I'm worried that I won't like the colour as much when the stripes change!
Gracie, What are your intail thoughts on it? Are you using it as a highlighter? Is it highly shimmery? What is the predominent color? I think Pinkdollface said she was using it as a blush, excuse me if I'm incorrect on that. Thank you!

With all this Red Racer Porn, I'm so excited to get my hands on my new goods. But now since I own a whole slew of red lippies, I'm having this weird fear that it won't look good on me or work with my skin tone. The anticipation is killing me! I have to have a medical test/procedure 2days before the launch, I hope nothing serious happens to preclude me from getting my haul! :barf: ugh so nervous.

The difference is that a red-based bronzer will imitate a slight sunburn, which looks more authentic, whereas a yellow-based bronzer just deepens the complexion. I hope this makes sense.
That makes perfect sense. I'm really glad you talk so much about red-based bronzers. If you wouldn't i would have gone with NOB, because that's what the MA applied first on me.
I'm confused. Pinkdollface, you are a NC 15-20, correct? &the Bronzer that looks best on you is the ____________ (Sun Dipped, am I right???) if so SD is more red based and looks more natural, am I correct? It's hard to remember who bought what and how it worked for them. Also, didn't you say that you bought Crew and have been wearing it as a blush? What is the primary color that shows up on you? If you are using it as a highlighter do you like it? And again what color is showing up? Is there a lot of shimmer in it? TIA.

Here is the pic of my freak-a-fied 131 brush I received from MAC PRO site with my order last year.  LOL! I call it my windblown brush!   :lulz: Freak on the left, obviously!  ;)
That's quite an interesting hair style. :) ROFL [/quote] He looks kind of like those troll dolls that were popular for a while. You can put googly eyes on him and keep him as ur MAC Mascot :bigstar:
