I have Russian Red as well and was also wondering if i needed Red Racer, but Russian Red is deeper and doesn't have the nice sheen Red Racer has. Think of Red Racer as a summer version of Russian Red.
I have two red lipliners Cherry and Redd. I'm going to try Redd with Red Racer too, but i'm at my parents house now and didn't take them with me. I will post a picture of those together next week. I think Cherry is really nice with blue based reds and Redd works better with orange based reds. I use Cherry with Russian Red and Runaway Red, but i also like it with Red Racer, so yes it can be used with a lot of reds. I think Redd lipliner is less versatile, but i got it to use with Scarlet Ibis and i think it will look nice with Red Racer as well to give it more of an orange tone.
I got Red Racer, Sail La Vie and To Catch A Sailor l/s, Blessedly Rich and Riviera Life l/g, Shore Leave l/l, Jaunty and Feeling Fresh e/s, Emerald Sea e/l, Fleet Fast and Launch Away p/b, Crew highligher and Sun Dipped bronzer.
I don't use a l/l with TCAS. I don't think it's needed. I posted pictures of TCAS and SLV earlier, so you can look at those and see for yourself if you like the lippies:) TCAS is on page 55 and SLV on page 57.

How do you like Sail la Vie by the way?

I love it! It's a wearable orange for me, because it's deeper than Morange or Neon Orange. I think Morange and Neon Orange would not look good on me. How are you liking your goodies?
Love 'em. Yesterday I wore Sun Dipped, Jaunty, Barefoot, Feeling Fresh and Nautical Navy paired with blue stripe powerpoint eye pencil and Launch away blush. Today Soft Sand and an eye look with Jaunty, Barefoot, Feeling Fresh and Emerald sea liner and Riviera Life l/g. Crew Highlighter + IF blush.

How do you like yours? :)

MACerette, now that you've been able to try both Nude on Board and Sun Dipped, which do you prefer? How do they compare to Soft Sand? Any favourites?

how dupeable do you think the eyeliners are? what are the most unique items in this collection?
The least dupeable is the green one, overall - but remember...they are not approved for the waterline. There's always Minted, if you want a leaf green, although this one's a little lighter and brighter.

Most unique goes to Riviera Life - it is SOOOO opaque and truly tangerine orange.

Most eye-poppingly gorgeous goes to Sail la Vie. Wowie kazowie! If you have dreamed of a more orange version of Toxic Tale, with the glowing brilliant neon depth of Candy Yum Yum and Scarlet Ibis, you are going to be in heaven. If you were one of those people (like me!) who wore Temperature Rising lip pencil by itself, you are also going to go bananas for SLV. My eyes bugged out when I tried it on. It's the good Satin finish too, not drying and not horrible to remove. Riviera Life on top is just outrageously summery.

Also mega-beautiful is Send Me Sailing. Like all of these lipglasses, the formula feels a little different. You have to put a thick layer on all at once, or else it feels a bit crumbly and dry. With a thick coat, though, you get a deep, laquer-like, super wet gloss with absolutely opaque color. The store manager was speculating that this was the Glam Glass formula, since it went on as densely pigmented and high shine as the ones he'd remembered from way back when they were shown at last year's update. The actual color is really beautiful too - a mostly neutral red, perhaps slightly leaning blue, but just barely. It doesn't make me look like an old, sallow lady, like most neutral reds do. Red Racer was a touch more neutral leaning and a beautiful texture, but it did make me look a bit sallow. This is the red for people for whom Scarlet Ibis was too yellow and/or too bright. It's rich, but not blaringly bright (on NC15 - on skin tones around 30 it will look brightest and most lovely, imo). Personally, I prefer SI, but I think most folks will be happier with RR's shade and slightly creamier finish. It's dramatic as all get out with Send Me Sailing on top, although personally I think SMS is even better on its own.

The white gloss is opaque enough to really make a difference lightening up any lipstick color underneath, but it looks pretty weird worn alone, unless you want to be the most Jersey Shores of them all. Meanwhile, just as I suspected, Salute is the perfect peachy nude for those of us with red lips who can rock the canceling power of the yellow undertones. If you can wear Sheer Mandarin Supreme Sheen, but wished it was a little more toned down and nude, Salute is going to get you really excited. As someone who looked 100% blah in all the Naturally peachy nude lipsticks, Salute really makes up for it. The white gloss looks really good over it too.

I didn't much care for To Catch a Sailor. Heroine from Wonder Woman is nearly the same, but with a better metallic frost, better texture and slightly richer color. Blessedly Rich has some very near dupes in the perm lipglass selection, with the only difference being it has a touch less pink than something like Enchantress, but it's not noticeably different on the lips.

I'll go on about the other products I tested later on today. All I personally reserved: Sail la Vie, Riviera Life, Send Me Sailing, the red lip pencil and the light pink/white body oil (which has been reformulated to be less oily than the To the Beach ones, although the coppery body oil is just as disappointing as the TTB one - can't see the sparkles and it doesn't impart enough color.) The light colored body oil is the winner, since it DRENCHES you in clear white shimmer, and has a touch more noticeable base color - I'd call it about the same shade as Superb, maybe a touch lighter.

So far, I think Soft Sand is the subtlest. I have tried it with the 167SH but I will try it again with the 150 brush. I can wear Sun Dipped but I have to be careful not to overapply because then the red comes out more and then it looks off.. I think NoB is still my favorite with my current skintone. Should I tan a bit Sun Dipped might be better. But again: I think you could use them all. Although I can really imagine that skintones with a pinkish / reddish undertone will look weird when NoB is used.

Oops, I was too excited to read the packaging. I have been using all three of them on my waterline too. Hmmm

Maybe it's fine for you, but other people might get reactions to it. I use pigments like Dusty Coral and Burnt Burgundy which are not eye safe on my eyes without any problems. Mac just says they are not safe in case somebody tries them and gets an allergic reaction. It might be the same for these eyeliners.

I may go back for Riviera Life and Emerald Sea tomorrow when I get paid. I'm so excited to get my stuff!

Just used the 150 brush to apply some more Soft Sand, but it's subtle. Hard to overdo. The PLW bronzer are more pigmented and softer.

Thanks, that really confirms my choice.

I'm glad I went with Nude on Board. I knew you loved it from your comments earlier in the thread.

I forgot that I do have another bronzer at home. My youngest daughter figure skates and her synchro team wears matching makeup. This year they had to use Sun Power which was ridiculously dark on her (I think she's at most a NC20, if not lighter). The lights wash skin tones out so the makeup is always intensified. She only used it twice and I'll never use it. I'm sorry I didn't just get her Give Me Sun regardless of what the instructions were. I did harvest Dollymix from her, so it wasn't a total waste.

True. However, next time I will read the packaging. I normally do that, but I guess I was a bit too excited this time.

Have you already ordered NoB? I love how it applies with the 167. I hope you'll like it too. Let me know

Hmmm that's a waste indeed. However Dollymix is a gem so hooray for that

Is there a difference is glowiness (if that's a word) or shimmer level between the PLW and Soft Sand? Not that I'm obsessing much over these. Just talking myself out of getting a second since I already have Matte Bronze. ;)

Personally I think the PLW have a better texture. I have the feeling they have a bit more sheen. Refined Golden has glitters in it. Me no like. Soft Sand has no real noticable shimmer. Perhaps if applied more heavily... I would go for the PLW ones. I als have matte bronze which I like too by the way.

Yes, it's on the way! I'm close to the Canadian warehouse so I'm hopeful that I'll get it tomorrow. I used the free express shipping code.

I can't wear MSFs (they break me out), but if I'd gotten Give Me Sun I could probably have passed the colour on to my teenage daughter. The little one is too young for makeup other than for performing.
