Got my package! Red Racer is really really really pretty lol. I totally didn't see the yellow in it but once I swatched Runaway Red next to it the yellow was very pronounced. Sail La Vie with Riviera Life is HOT!! Blessedly Rich is nice but I don't see the pale coral part at all-not complaining at all because it is nice and shimmery. I'm about make my second order now...I think at least.

Temptalia's swatches of crew are beautiful! http://www.temptalia.com/mac-crew-highlight-powder-review-photos-swatches
She says the beige part is an overlay

Oh my gosh - I don't like it on her at all. I know she's put it on heavily to show the colour, but in the first face shot she looks like she has a pink mask from under her eyes to just under her cheeks. Look at her forehead in comparison. This would definitely not suit me - I'm glad I passed on it.

Okay all Toronto area ladies, looks like the Pro store had quite a few things other than Barefoot eyeshadow (I think I got the last one). The store has set up a lot of the stock near the register (used to have most of the permanent makeup bags on the shelves) while the display with testers is close to the entrance. I wasn't playing close attention but there seemed to be quite a few Crew highlight powders on register area shelf thing. Also not sure about the stock for Red Racer lipstick. My mind was elsewhere, I think I was feeling rushed or something... Sorry.

I originally wanted the tote bag but not sure if I want to drop $54+ on it just yet. I didn't get to check out the quality of it. Now debating whether or not to go back for it tomorrow as I'm on stay-cation next week and I doubt my husband would be happy about going shopping with me. I'm just not sure if it'll be around the week after my vacation, though it would be better for me as I get paid then.

I got an order confirm, but no shipping confirmation yet...should I be worried?
I think I remember that you're in Canada. I typically get the product delivered before the shipping notice. I've been told before that they're slow to update the website. When I spoke to MAC Canada this morning, they told me that they were releasing last night's web orders today (I should receive it tomorrow since I'm nearby).

I can't believe RR is out of stock! I've been sick for a loooing while, but last night I was so bad I was hysterically crying, curled n a ball sick. Then it happened this AM. Now come to find out I can't even order the damn LS I want. I'm so pissed b/c this LE craziness is so frustrating. Especially knowing people are buying 4 & 5 of these things. Leaves people with nothing! The worse part is I'm so I'll that I can't figure out what to get. ARGH. I really dislike life right now!

I know everyone's ordering up a storm already, but just wanted to continue with my impressions of the collection:

Crew: This was nearly colorless on me (NC15) when applied lightly, although overall it had a cool pink cast. The main thing about it is there are transparent sparkles in it - pretty much the same level as last year's My Paradise, but clear/white. It's pretty subtle, but the sparkles made it a no-go for me. I feel too old for sparklies all over my face, when I could use the amazing EDSFs instead. I think Crew will look best on people with mid to deep toned skin, or pale gals who are wearing some bronzer or noticeable blush (otherwise it may not show up, except when the light hits the glitter). I wasn't crazy about it. It was a skip for me. Pretty looking product, though! If you loved the Vera powders, Crew will be up your alley.

Fleet Fast is a very nice shade for people who felt Early Morning was a beautiful color but too pigmented and hard to control. This will be easier to apply. It's the texture of Tres Cheek blushes, but with an extremely finely milled gold sparkle mixed in. It's about the finest gold sparkle I've seen, but it's still sparkle, as opposed to sheen. This made it a no-buy for me, personally, but if you like golden glints catching the light, this is as subtle and low key as it gets.

Launch Away is a more neutral, nude Immortal Flower. If it shows up on you, it will be an effortless blush. It was a bit nothing for my tastes, but I tend not to go for really simple nude blushes in general. Will work great for subtle contouring for pale people, especially in conjunction with some bronzer.

The eye pencils and shadows were nice, pigmented and smooth, but honestly very dupeable and not particularly interesting to me. Even Feeling Fresh felt a little throwback-y, due to the shimmer in it. Not for my coloring, either, so I know I'm a little biased. The lip pencils are nice, though. The red one's perfect for all the orangey reds this year and will look interesting even worn on its own and the coral is very bright, brighter than In Synch (but it doesn't really match any of the lipsticks or glosses in the collection, which is a bit odd). I really like the Pro-Longwear lip pencil formula - if you have a full day event filled with eating and drinking, these babies will keep your lips looking neat, even if you don't get a chance for touchups of whatever you put over them. They're worth the extra cost for their durability.

+1 on what Audrey said. I've actually had online orders arrive at my door and the next time I looked at my computer, I've seen the Fed Ex confirmation followed by Mac's shipping confirmation. Fed Ex tends to work so fast that most other companies can't keep up, so their receive, ship and deliver by the time their customers have the chance to update information that the goods have been shipped. Seriously, shipping for Mac to Montreal is like lightning and I've never had an issue.

This was very helpful, thank you. I don't do gold sparkle any more, so this is a 'take it off the list for sure' issue.

I was wearing a darker foundation when I got IM and had to layer it on. Now that I'm using a lighter shade, I love IF. It's a gorgeous, very natural peach flush that is great with Razzledazzler, Ravishing Lip Glass and the other light peachy-corals I'm loving right now. A neutral version of that will be great for the summer; I could see myself wearing that a lot with lippies like Twig and Brave and lipglasses like Lust.

Can't wait for my order to arrive!!!

Dang, I must seriously be transparent because both the Vera powders show up pretty bright on me! Crew swatched quite bright on my inner arm as well!

She just added an "excavated" picture and the beige part is indeed an overlay

, which makes it so much more worth it (for me) to purchase it. I rather have more blushers in my collection than highlighters.
I just looked at the excavated picture, and I am happy! Like you I am not really a highlighter hoarder, I have 1 (Dior Rose Diamond) which is really plenty for my needs. I am planning on using Crew as a blush, and it's good to see that over time it will only be even more of a blush!

Although it really makes me even more confused that MAC is marketing it as a highlighter.

The fact that Crew is different underneath than on top makes me more hesitant to order it. How would I even know what it was going to look like after a few uses? It could come out as a completely different product...

Either way is fine by me. Highlighter? Sure. Blush? No problem. Really like what they did there. Glad I have it. (but I already was)
