The 129SH has a nice travel pouch (though you probably don't want to spend the extra cash unless you had your eyes on it anyway). A cheap alternative - and maybe the most sanitary - are ziplock bags.
I should buy stock in Ziplock baggies! LOVE those things for traveling!

I bought the 167SH brush. I want to keep in in my purse. Any sugguestions on where I can buy a travel pouch to keep it safe and clean?

Thanks in advance
Maybe someone can help with what they're called.... But I've seen these mesh-type brush protector or drying things you place over the bristles of your makeup brushes...
maybe get those to protect the bristles in your makeup bag, and then do the Ziplock bag suggestion by Mac-Guy to store it?

Edit: BRUSH GUARDS! Thanks MACerette!

Brush guards are great for drying your brushes, but they are not good at all for traveling, or carrying in a bag. I used them, with my brushes in a roll, and they kept sliding back, and "teasing" all of my brushes. It took a few washes to get the hairs back to normal.

That is my experience as well. I only use them after drying and they do a wonderful job at that. Brushes always look new after a wash :)

Good to know.... I was going to try them when traveling with my brushes in my purse! Thanks for that info!

OT, but since I became a NARS pro member last week I plan on placing my first order there this week (or within a few weeks, depending on the dosh). I plan to get Orgasm, Deep Throat, Albatross and Nico. (I also want Douceur, Madly, Angelika and some others, but that will be for round 2). I am usually not a real bronzery chick but I bought NoB, Soft Sand and SD from HS and I already had Matte Bronze. I am starting to like the bronzing. Should I get Laguna too? I prefer mattes or sheens. Did anybody get one or more of the bronzers mentioned above and is Laguna a welcome addition? TIA Specktrettes!

I never got my hey sailor tattoo, they are just showing up now online! :p Also once you've used the free express shipping code SAILOR they don't let you use it again, which is weird because usually they let you use them as much as you want until they expire.

I don't think brush guards are necessary, I use toilet paper/paper towels when I want to get brushes back in shape or want to protect them. I got this tipp from Dustin Hunter's video, very helpful I think. You just wrap a piece around the brush handle and slide it over the bristles.

Hi Everyone! I was looking for some opinions on the Shore Leave lip pencil... This is the item I have had my eyes on since the color story because of my hopes that it will be the perfect color for many of my lipsticks that just need a little light base to enhance their color.

I think the color is beautiful, but I was wondering how you feel about the actual product? Does it apply well? Is it kind of dry or tug at the lips when applying? I haven't heard it mentioned too much or seen many reviews, so any thoughts or opinions on this pencil would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I always have my brush guards on they are awesome! But indeed with traveling it can be a problem. I do have the brush guards on for short travels. I bind the the brushes together with an elastic band and put them in a plastic bag from which i fold the top part and i have a compartement in my schoolbag in which the brushes with the bag can stand up so the brush guards won't slide down. Weird explanation i know:p

Kinda love how I basically get called an idiot and barely anyone says anything! *My little rant* I'm still deciding if I want Fleet Fast and Crew. Guess I'll just wait until Thursday to see if it will work for me or not.
Richelle, I think u just got caught in the crossfire. I haven't been on here long but I think everyone brings spunk & sauciness to our passion, which is make up! I know that I value you & your comments/suggestions & looking at hot guys on floats without meaning to...lol. No one was trying to hush you up I think we just all want this over or at least not in the thread anymore! Hugs!

Lily is adorable BTW.
Hi Spanky!

Yes it was the Suntints, the texture is similar to MAC lipglasses, but thicker and slightly less sticky. I have to be careful and apply a very thing layer because otherwise, you'll get this everytime you open your mouth:

It smell like vanilla, but the taste isn't that great. Not awful, but not good either. If you want it for the color, you might want to search for something else because on my lips it's clear with tiny gold sparkles. It looks beautiful when I swatch it heavily on my arm, but on my lips it's not like that at all even if I apply a thick layer (and you don't want to do that lol).

I don't even know if it's moisturizing because I couldn't stand to keep it on my lips for more than a couple of minutes! If you don't mind the stickiness and don't care if it's almost clear on your lips, then maybe you'll like it.

Are you looking for a tinted lipbalm or a lipbalm with SPF? Clinique Superbalm is a nice lip balm/gloss, it comes in different shades too (although they are very sheer) and it's not tacky! But it doesn't contain SPF.

Oh and thanks for Lily. :)
