I'm not sure why, but that's been the case whenever I order early from a Nordstrom counter. Sometimes I try showing up on launch day and they'll give me my order, but often I have to wait until the morning after.

Bleh that stinks! Well, I'll try to see if I can pick it up on the launch day and see if they'll give it to me... either way it's still faster than ordering on Nordstrom.com at this point still...they always take forever to get to me...

That's what I do. I order online (and get the ebates, heh) and pick it up in store. I was able to get my TC blushes a few days before it officially released. IIRC, for TC they only had the "pick up in store" option for a day or so. Then they took it off until the collection officially released.

I'll have to call them to make sure...I'd hate to do the "pick up in store" and then still wait until Friday because I'll have to call and cancel my pre-sale anyway and that might get confusing. If I can actually pick it up early then I can go there and cancel the pre-sale and be sure I don't get double charged for it.

I'm sure you'll be able to do it. For TC, I placed an order on Monday am and picked it up that same day. I placed an order today for pick up, I'll let you know how that goes.

Duckrodeo your skin looks beautiful with or without makeup! So jealous of your freckles - I was just reading in allure about different summer looks for summer by charlotte tillbury, and one was where she drew fake freckles on with a light brown pencil to make models look more fresh faced.

Aww thanks dear they're all from the sun. Sometimes they get pretty dark and prominent in the summertime. I gotta take better caution with my skin and sun exposure, though, especially with my skintone. I freckle on my face but everywhere else I burn.



I ordered Sail La Vie from Nordies. I tried to do the in-store pickup but once I added it to my cart, clicked "check out" and signed into my account, SLV disappeared! I did this about 5 times before I just placed an order for the regular Nordstrom shipment. *sigh* it might take forever this way, but hopefully I still get my order..

No-go for the pickup in store from my Nordstrom, they said I'd have to pick it up Thursday no matter what.

Good news is that I found out I can pick it up on Thursday rather than Friday at least? My son loves the mall so we will most likely end up there in the evening for his birthday celebrations (or I suppose I could even go there first thing in the morning before we get going and wear it, which would be nice since we are going to the beach)!

I don't think the eBates are worth the trouble, at least not this time anyway, since I am only getting Crew and Jaunty. I always forget to use it too...

it's a shame the collection wasn't released earlier, b/c last weeks eBates was giving 13% cashback for Nordies! I bought some other stuff (cosmetics and other stuff), and got a nice chunk of change back. I guess it's worth it for me, b/c I NEVER forget to use it, haha.

My haul for Hey, Sailor is pretty much done for now. Hopefully, I won't be enabled to buy anything else haha.

So far, Sail La Vie is my fave. I also really like Sun Dipped, but I don't need another bronzer. I'm also looking forward to getting Handforged - I think I'll use that a lot on my lower lash line. I like Rich Ground fluidline a lot but this is different. I haven't made a brush decision yet because I wanted to check them out in person and I wasn't too worried about them selling out.

Swatching Crew confirmed that it wasn't right for me although I think it's very pretty and like it on others.

Yeah, if that was the case I would have gone for the eBates for sure, now it's not such a big deal...I'd only get a couple dollars back.

It's funny, I always tell myself "remember to use eBates" and then I forget and remember almost immediately after I submit my order. It's the most frustrating feeling ever

It feels like so long since your initial swatches that I thought you might have lost interest and moved onto the next collection! I only have the brush and Sail La Vie so far....I'm going to check out the rest of the collection on Thursday, hopefully by the time I get there they won't be sold out! I love Sail La Vie, though I find it looks best on me with a relatively simple face...just a bit of tinted moisturiser, bronzer and mascara. The brush is great! So soft fluffy, and liking that it's compact w/o being dinky...I might make a case that I can keep a few brushes in inside my makeup pouch..I often find I have to be really careful not to snag bristles on the zip!

Ebates is offering 13% cashback for Macy's, but this collection hasn't launched on Macy's website yet.

I just don't have the patience to wait anymore. I placed an order on Nordies already and they offer free shipping on any order. Macy's only offers free shipping for orders $50 and up. My order was $45 so Nordies was a better option for me.

Don't shoot me ladies and gents but I am glad that the pick up in store option at Nordies isn't available just yet. Alot of stores are having huge events late this week (including the one I go to) and they are still processing preorders. Since some of this is limited stock at the counter (i.e. mine only got 3 Sun Dipped bronzers) it seems only fair that preorders should have access to in store stock first.

I hope everyone is able to get what they want off the site. I find Nordie's delivers pretty fast to my area.

I NEED Crew. I mean I don't need Crew. Ahh! I can't figure out if I want this or not. It looks so pretty. But I just ordered the Vera Powders so that SHOULD suffice, right? Anti enablers please step up & guide me out of this. I getvthe feeling that many r disappointed by it & don't really think it's all that??? I havent gotten involved in the HC thread, are there going to be highlighters in that collx? Are there any repromotes that people are jonesing about? Someone please give me the quick & dirty about upcoming HL. It will be highly appreciated! I think I need a damn anti- MU sponsor! :shock:
