The Vera powders should suffice. There...
Definitely -- I have both Vera powders -- (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE) and so am saving money by skipping Crew. Although as soon as I decide to skip something I just add another product to my list so not really saving any money.

I think I'm going to take my chances and wait and see if the bags show up at a CCO. I was just at the one nearby a week ago and they still had the Fafi totes. That way I can get them for a discount. And if they don't show up there, it wasn't meant to be. But I'm sure a lot of people will find they bags pricey and will skip them... Fingers crossed!
Same...I like the tote but it's just too much for me :/

Yeah, I don't think many people go for the makeup bags! My local CCO has had the Wonder Woman and Surf Baby ones for aaaaaaages

I'm not really getting any glitter from this Maybe once the stripes wear down. I see the off white color looks glittery though.
I bet it has something to do with which brush you use and how lightly you grab product off the top - I probably got a lot of the white color on my face when I tried it on last week because it was a freshly opened tester and I didn't want to go rough on their display.

At least it's that pretty transparent mica sparkle - I wish that stuff wasn't so drying on me.

I don't, either. And I hate anything glittery on my face. I get a very soft focus effect with this one, even less pearly than the beauty powders and pearlmatte powders.

Also, the more you use it, the color gets deeper and more pinky peach.

My favorite product of the collection would have to be Soft Sand Bronzing Powder, just because that's the one thing I have used the most since I got it. Haven't worn Crew and the blushes much, I definitely need to do that. I'm NW10-15, so bronzers are a little scary for me, but I think Soft Sand is great for paler beauties, it's hard to over do even if you tend to have a heavy hand with blushes and such (like me). Every time I've worn it I've gotten compliments on how good and healthy I look. Apparently people are not used to see me like that, LOL.
Now I need more bronzers!

Congrats on being brave and trying a bronzer! I love it when I'm feeling like something the cat dragged in and people are still telling me how healthy I look that day.

How do you use the bronzer? Like a blush or all over your face? I am NC10 as well and although I am pale and proud I am curious about bronzers since historically I will write something off without trying it, then finally give it a go and wonder where it's been all my life.

I get the sheen from the Vera powders, and I think you might be onto something that your dry skin might be the cause, when I first put powder on in the AM my face looks quite powdery but after a while the oils in my skin melt with my makeup like you said and cause a natural look. Maybe a moisturizing spray used throughout the day, or at least to set the powder would help? I know it helps immensely in the morning when my face looks all powdery.

That's exactly how am too, LOL. But you should give bronzers a try.
I wear it all over, like on the cheeks, temples, forehead, nose and chin.

LOL. Yes, usually when people comment me on my complexion they're asking me if I'm sick because I look so pale. So I guess I'll give the bronze-y look a try, even though I embrace my light skintone it's nice to try something different and play with different looks. I know for sure I will treat myself with a nice high end bronzer next summer.

Maybe I'll have a look at the bronzers when I pick up my stuff on Thursday. I doubt I'll end up getting them (I don't WANT to be tan) but if the effect is amazing maybe I will change my mind.

What's everybody's favorite product(s) from this collection?

Mine are Crew, Fleet Fast, Sun Dipped, and Emerald Sea. Special mentions go to the 167SH!

Fleet Fast and SLV for sure! Haven't tried my Crew yet. And am waiting on Shellcat's rec for the bronzer when she goes to check them out in the store... since she's my Skin Twin! HeeHee
Glad you're liking your goodies Mac-Guy!!

The skin at the top of my cheekbones and around the temples is very thin too (extra moisturizing can't help with that much), so yeah, it may just be for different skin than mine. I don't run into this issue with the EDSFs or with BPs like Elude. The outer circle parts of the Semi Precious MSFs are fine for me too.

I'm ok with it when I wear My Paradise, because I only use that in high summer anyways. If people need Crew anti-enabling, though, they can come to me any time, hee!

Also, bronzers are fine for paler people. I'm NC15 and was always chicken about them until a couple years ago. They make them so sheer and finely milled now and the ones in this collection are particularly soft and subtle. You basically lightly apply them anywhere on your face you'd normally get some color from the sun - cheeks, temples, down the sides of the face, a tiny touch on the bridge of the nose, etc. If you're really curious, go to a MAC store and ask for a demo from a MA with a very lightly tanned skin look style - he or she will understand where you're coming from for sure.

Fix+ and the Charged Water spray don't quite do it with those more mica-y ones on me. I'm curious about these Asian moisturizing sprays - that sounds like something up my alley. What brand do you like?

I think bronzer does often look more mainstream. I don't think anyone could have twisted my arm to get me to like them when I was younger. I'm ok with it now because the past few years, my eyes decided to show their age with puffy bags and seriously nothing works as well for reversing that particular issue than just having skin that looks sunny and outdoorsy. Rather than trying to cover them up with concealer, I just use a little bronzer and suddenly nobody notices anymore. Slight of hand!

I usually don't like a tanned look either. I planned to use the bronzer only on my cheeks, but I played with it and liked how it made me look when I used it all over. Maybe try a matte one so at least you won't get the 'glowy' effect.
