A family photo of my HS Haul

I love the brush. I've been using it to apply nude on board. You guys are making me want to go back and get Riviera *must resist temptation*

Wow - nice haul. It looks so pretty like that! :)

Mine's a lot smaller, but I'm enjoying what I have. The packaging is very cute - it certainly helps draw us in.

Tell yourself they're not glosses, but balms, so you don't need to worry about being on a gloss low buy.

Since neither impart much in the way of colour, I would consider whether you want sparkle or not, to help you decide. I got Au Rose because I love a little sparkle on my lips
I love you guys. Since I have a Macy's gift card, maybe I can get Au Rose and Launch Away after all. At no additional cost.

Launch Away is beautiful - it's definitely my favourite of all the recent blushes put out my MAC. Such a natural looking, pretty peachy pink on me.

Taking a look at the collection this weekend - still nothing super jumping out at me but Crew and Riviera Life. Might walk away from this one pretty much unscathed!

I purchased Red Racer, Sail La Vie, Au Rose and Abalone. I figured that Riviera Life would still be in stock once MAC reships my order, but now I'm wondering if I should have just ordered it anyway. Well, I decided to spring for Premium 2-3 day shipping and Macys shipped it via Fedex ground!! Its like the universe doesn't want me to have my Hey Sailor goodies

This is turning out to be such a frustrating experience!

My package of goodies is suppose to be delivered next week, but I just tracked my Nordstrom package and it said that it's scheduled for early delivery on May 24, tomorrow!! Yay!! So excited to finally get my package.

nice haul. how is nautical navy. is it a no good as tamptalia describes. plz say no:shock:
It's very, very similar to contrast and shop drop from the shop drop quad. It's not as satin-y smooth as other MAC satins. Its workable, but the easiest to work with.

5 hours til I'm home!! Counting down when I can play with my goodies waiting for me :) I'm going to wait until the weekend to get an in-store look at Riviera Life. I'm trying to cut down my lipglasses because I get so sad when they have to go to the B2M pile :-( I'm just not sure how often I would use RL, even though it is very unique. I reached for my Pret-a-papier lipglass and it's toast, I don't want the same fate to befall RL!

Liba - (invoking the anti-enabler) what are your thoughts on riviera life? Equally dupeable later...or skip and regret? I'm trying to curb my lipstick/gloss acquisitions in favour of finishing what I've got, but I am getting super tempted here...

Received Send Me Sailing today. Immediately compared it to Nitrolicious! SMS is lighter, sheerer, not as sticky/tacky and not so in your face as Nitro. Don't need both at all.

uh-oh.

For what I've seen of pictures of you, it might be a skip 'n regret situation if:
- you love a true orange.
- you love a super opaque but not sludgy looking lipglass.
- you want the mot unique color in the collection.
- want an ultimate summer fun color.

It ought to be fine on your skin tone, although it's 100% orange, with no white and no red. I don't think we're going to see something too similar coming up - this one screams summertime. It's this year's Krazy Kahuna, imo. The only anti-enable I can come up with is it might look iffy if your complexion is too cool, and it's a party color, not a run-to-the-grocery-store color. Also, it's very trendy, so by next summer who knows, it'll either look dated or by then every other makeup line will be doing it.

I got my Crew in the mail today. It's so pretty, and I think it will make a nice, barely there blush for summer/work days. I just ordered sun dipped, sight unseen. I'm hoping it works for my pale face. I'm about nw15. I haven't owned a bronzes In Years, because I always found them too orangey. I would have liked to try it in store first, but will be nowhere near a MAC for the next couple of weeks. Please forgive typos! I'm just starting to get used to an iPad.

That's exactly it. I know I would love Riviera Life, and I know it would be flattering. But I already have Star Quality, Double Dare, Lust and Ravishing l/g open (I'm not even counting the fall tone l/g). Right now, I'm using Ravishing layered over Chicory lipliner for an orange glossy mouth and on it's own for a lighter coral. Star Quality isn't orange, but it's a corally bright. Double Dare is a light reddish bright.

Riviera Life is a summer colour; I know I'll go for a deeper muted orange in the fall. I doubt I'll get through the ones I have open now this summer and I'd be concerned that it will have gone off by next summer, when there will probably be another great orange.

I love it (and Send Me Sailing), but I'm trying to be realistic and practical. Trying to pass on both because I don't want them to go to waste. I just got Hot Spell at the beginning of the year and it's already toast. It's gotten thicker and lost it's vanilla scent. That happened in a couple of months, and I only wore the l/g a handful of times.
