I will try and post it tonite.

But I agree with others, how do you get your eyeshadow to looks so flawless, and your blends so crisp?
Aww thanks for the compliment I blend till my hand hurts lol. One of my fav things to do is to apply my tranistion shade in my crease first it really helps with blending any shadows that you apply on top of it. sry for the late reply. Havent been on in a while

I know everyone has moved on to the Next Best Thing, but I'm still loving this collection. It's my first MAC summer collection.

I wanted to add to the 167SH love; the difference between applying bronzer with a blush brush (however lightly) and this is night and day. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I got the last one at the MAC store today (MUA said they only got 16). I adore Sun Dipped; I'm so glad I went for it despite buying NoB.

I was all proud of myself for being practical and dodging Crew. There's no point buying a cute product if it looks like crap on. When I was ringing up my stuff, I saw how great it looked on a young blond girl. So I brought it home to mine, who looks AMAZING in it.

I clearly need a 12 step program. I've done plenty of damage this year on my OWN stuff; add someone in the house with different colouring who can wear the things I can't and all bets are off!

(Good thing MAC doesn't launch too many cute powders).
You're such a sweet mom! I'm also still in love with this collection. I must resist the desire to buy more...

HS finally comes out in Japan on June 1. I'm actually kind of glad we're one of the last to get it so I can see swatches of what I want.

-Red Racer l/s
-Barefoot e/s
-Jaunty e/s
-Feeling Fresh e/s
-Nautical e/s
-167sh brush
-one of the bronzers, either Sun Dipped or Soft Sand. I can't decide which one would be better for me. I wear Fairly Light in Bare Minerals. I have no idea about my undertones (wrist veins are purple in some places, blue in others, then fade to green down my arm lol). I was pretty close to Matchmaster 1 when I swatched it though. Just looking for something subtle.

I'm camping out til midnight so I can order it off the Hankyu department store website. MAC Japan is really late about putting stuff on their own site and half the time it's already sold out when they put it up (happened to me last year with a couple of things from Surf Baby :( )

We're getting HS in Japan on June 1. Sucks to wait, but at least I have a lot of swatches I can look at. I'm camping out til midnight the night before and ordering it from Hankyu Department store. MAC Japan is bad about putting collections up pretty late on their own site. Half of the time items are already sold out when they put them up.

The color looks chalky on my NC30/35 skin tone when I swirl all the colors together, but after the beige overlay is gone, the color actually looks lovely on my cheeks and it does not look chalky at all.

The beige overlay is pretty thick and it won't be gone anytime soon, even if you use it everyday.

For those who have a medium or dark skin tone and find that the color doesn't work well on them, I suggest removing the beige overlay.

The lipsticks have been restocked.

I saw that Red Racer is sold out again and so quickly this time! I do hope you girls do call your MAC store or counter to see if they have any left! It is a gorgeous lipstick! I do plan to do a look using that lipstick right now! Also, if you girls are still wanting Sail La Vie l/s, do get it now before it will be gone again online!

Oy, I'm going to pretend like I didn't see this. Going to be strong, I don't need it.... Thanks for sharing!

My Red Racer was here when I got home. Wow, its a bright red. Its a beautiful color but much brighter than I thought. My husband said he would be able to find me anywhere.

The color looks really nice once the beige overlay is removed, but I hate that I had to "ruin" the top layer in order for it to be wearable.

Hey everyone! Just joined the forum because I was so excited about the Hey,Sailor Collection that I had to check out who else was talking about it!! Unfortunately I could not get it in time before it sold out in all the stores in my area. :( anyways..... I must say that I love the colors and the packaging is gorgeous! Oh and I absolutely love Riviera Life! It’s pretty opaque, and the shimmer is delicious!
ooh la la!! LOL!!

I haven't tried Riviera Life or Send Me Sailing, but they've gotten raves by other Specktrettes! I might end up with Riviera Life, still on the fence with it! It definitely is a beautiful lipglass though

just not sure if I would give it enough love to be confident in buying it!

I meant to do this over the weekend but laziness took the best of me!
Here I am wearing Sail La Vie. I'm surprised at how...UN-orange it seems on my lips! Eeeee, I might have to try a more orange liner, maybe? Then again, night time with flash and macro on the camera might be toying with the color a bit, too. HMM.

I used Lasting Sensation lip liner, applied SLV with a lip brush, and dabbed just a small little dot of Hush, Hush tendertone in the center of the lips to add some shine.

No matter how orange or not orange it is, I would like to thank Pixie for inspiring my purchase! I'm really digging it, and you're right it is Scarlet Ibis' casual sister!
