I find it strange that mac would do a 'filler' collection for permanent products. If it were items that were LE, like too fabulous, or metal-x, big bounce I'd think 'yes, filler'....but why would they slate these as being permanent?

I'm glad I didn't go ahead and order any of the blushes yet http://www.temptalia.com/mac-office-hours-pro-longwear-blushes-reviews-photos-swatches-part-1

I like the texture of the blushes. It's very similar to the PLW bronzers, i.e. very blendable and soft, they even feel a bit creamy when you apply them.

These blushes require a softer brush as one with harder bristles will be too harsh on the surface resulting in excess powder. I found the 165 worked best for me as the bristles are incredibly soft. However, the 168 and 169 did not work well for me as they just produced too much powder excess. The texture also reminds me of some older b/p such as Tahitian Sun, which is among my favorite b/p of all times.

The best feature of these blushes is the finish (and this, again, is similar to the aforementionned b/p): you get a subtle glow without shine, glitter, or shimmer. It's a natural glow and not one that is in your face. Just like a natural flush, but with a bit more color for a soft look with some oompf. I'm not sure how well they will show up on darker complexions, but maybe WOC who tested these will be able to comment on that.

Refresh my memory, please...Is the 165 brush a discontinued/LE brush or PRO only?I didn't see it on the regular MAC site. TIA!

I guess it all depends on the skintone and how you want the blush to be.. Maybe these blushes will be perfect for people with light skin, oily skin (on my oily skin they are not powdery) or ones with a heavy hand :p I have Whole lotta love and I like it though it's different from the blushes I have.. it doesn't have a full coverage.. I mean, if I have a dark spot on my cheek, you'll still see it under the blush (this doesn't happen with blushes like Pink cult..) so you need a good base underneath it. At the same time, it's really hard to over do and are easy to blend!
I also wore WLL for seven hours and I also had two hours of a dance lesson..
Maybe not every color is worth the price.

I was going to ask the same thing!! A prettier Kourtney Kardashian, and Kourtney is pretty gorgeous
That was my first thought as well! I was just skimming the thread and saw the pic and thought "oh wow, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted wearing this collection!?" then read the caption.

SO PRETTY!

I'm surprised these blushes got such a bad rating - they're not the best blushes I've tried but I don't think they're that bad. I purchased Rosy Outlook and I find that it shows up quite well on my NC30 skin even after I've applied a bit of bronzer underneath.

It was LE, but released twice since in first came out with Brunette, Blonde, and Redhead.

It's the softest goat hair MAC brush I came across (except maybe for the 174). It was labelled as a contouring brush, but I prefer it for highlights/blush.

ahahaha thank you, I guess I look more "childish" than her (well of course, I'm ten tears old younger but I mean I'm not a sexy woman as her).. what nationality are the Kardashian?

I guess I'll be searching online for it! Sounds like a wonderful brush to have my collection. I don't suppose I'll ever see it at a CCO? I just looked up what it looked like and don't remember ever seeing it in person. I'll keep my eyes out, thanks!

Yes, absolutely. That's what I love about them: they look so very natural!

I would go so far to say that they are better suited for oily skin. I have dry cheeks and I found that the silky finish made them look less dry. The PLW blushes probably look less dry than textures such as Pink Cult.

I scored two more BU's at the Cabazon Outlet in Palms Springs a few months ago. It's worth checking!

I'm not too sure if I agree with T's review yet. I'm wearing Blush all day and the color shows up on me with no problem and I'm an nc30. It gives me a soft natural look. So far so good.. I'll have to wait to see how it wears throughout the day.

I hope they just release it again one of these days. I need a backup!!! It runs about $100 on ebay.

I think their father was Armenian maybe?
With contouring being so fashionable at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised to see it repromoted soon.

for those of you who have the blushes, would you consider these similar to the sheertone blushes?

Are you planning on buying more? I'm Team 4, but I'll opt for Team 8.
