I agree with everything below. While I appreciate all of the info mousygiggles was able to share with us, I was really confused when I started reading this thread simply because no information was given about it until the 10th or so post. I realize now that this convo was probably a continuation from the the early buzz thread, but would it be possible to edit one of the first posts to reflect the info we have? That way new people to the thread will have all the info from the beginning and they can join in the conversation.

It would just be helpful if this early info was put in one of the first few comments in the new post, or if the color story sections would be updated. It was so much easier when MAC used to give out the early info & our color story section was updated along with the discussion threads even if there isn't too much information. New info is great but its hard to dig through 10 new threads looking for any info besides the collection name. Its hard now because we don't have Janice around who always did that & we used to have a dozen mods to update & now we only have 1 or 2 active ones, its almost impossible for them to do everything and I'm not complaining, just commenting

Yes, a summary of the information gathered so far in the initial post would make a lot more sense. I'm new here and seeing a bunch of new threads pop up that say new thread with no details was really confusing. I don't follow the Early Buzz thread nor do I plan to so this information came way out of left field to me. It's just something thread starters should take into consideration when starting a new thread if they don't want to perpetuate in-group/out-group stuff. I'm sure it's just a detail people tend to forget when they become comfortable here.

Yes, it would be really nice to have the color story sections updated, but we don't have a color story yet and MAC is very secretive about future releases. We even don't have the official (full) color story for Glamour Daze even if this one will be released next week.

I'm happy to update the color story once it is available. Until then, we must rely on speculations and/or small pieces of information that individual members bring to the board. I also update the titles including release dates when they are available as it makes it much easier to search for a particular thread.

Finally, if somebody volunteers (OhSoJaded, MissTT or others?) to summarize the information, please PM me the summary and I'd be happy to add it to the first post. And now let's get back to enjoy the information we have so far.

Hey Mac-Guy. You can go ahead and change the name of the "Tuxedo" collection to Taste Temptations.

A kind poster in the Strength thread refreshed my memory here. What this Macy's thing is is a 4 hour online promo launch of a few of the products from Taste Temptations. Later, in Jan. the full Taste Temptations collection will be launched from MAC. YES, there are mattenes in this one, including a purple that deep and strong but not blue-ish like Potent Fig. There honestly was so much info swirling in front of my face and it was a real tough day for me anyhow, so by the time I could come share, these details were slipping through the cracks in my skull.

Thankfully, others are helping out here! This collection IS the one with the PLW eye liners, though, and yes mattenes. There are other lip products too, but now I am turned around about whether they are lipsticks or glosses. There are 2 quads in this one and just go ahead and check my other comments in the Early Buzz thread for the other details - I'm pretty sure all those comments have been brought over to the main tuxedo thread, which should be officially Taste Temptations now. PHEW!!!!
