NARS Spring 2013

Have you tried Taos or Hidden Treasure with the Yachiyo? I use a regular blush brush to apply my NARS blushes, so I do get more pigmentation with Taos. I use Outlaw for a softer look.
Oh I returned Taos when I bought it years ago. It was too scary for me. Now I think have the skills to sheer it out a bit more. HT wears just fine on me I just don't really reach for red blush. I rotate Lovejoy (even though I still don't love it), Outlaw, and Small Vanity.

Luster needs to be added to that rotation. Lol, just saying!

Oh, it's showing at Sephora so soon?! I thought the collection wouldn't show up there until later. Rushes over to the site...

Yeah, I was checking everywhere but no one else had it. So before I hit the order submit button at Nars I thought I would check Sephora - bingo. Glad I waited because I had my free birthday gift (from 2 months ago) & other freebies. I like ordering from NM.com & it was coming up in the search, but they are not getting it until Feb. something.

I am planning to buy most of the collection, as soon as I have enough money coming in. Did notice T's review of Corcovado; despite the F grade, I actually want to try it out for myself. Any suggestions I can do to make it successful? (Thanks in advance!

I guess getting the product to work depends on your skin and various other factors. For some, applying the product to bare skin is enough to get a nice result. For others, it demands more work, like using it as a base that you sheer out / blend with a brush and then apply powder eyeshadow on top. You'd have to experiment to get the best out of it. ;)

Using it as a base for a powder shadow works fairly well, although I'd recommend not wearing eye liner with it, since the moistness of the shadow pencil will cause the liner to smudge.

You can use it for a little colour under the eye and it's fine and in the inner corner of the eye- where it can't really crease. My preferred method is to apply a fair amount of colour to the inner corner and then use my finger to smooth it out towards the centre of the lid. There's no getting around the fact that they do crease after a relatively short time if they're applied to the lid, even if you have some primer underneath. But setting with powder or limiting it to parts of the lid where there aren't folds for it to get "trapped" in seems to work.

I thought the bday code was only good for 2 weeks after your bday? I've got one to use up, too, but I don't need anything from Sephora right now.

Review of Cythère Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil by Temptalia:

I suspect she'll post reviews of Mad Mad World and Persia very soon. You can check out her review of Corcovado because she used the duo and the single eyeshadow in her eye look.

Yeah, I have no idea why I was still able to get it. It was a 3 piece Sugar lip thingy - no discount, just a small present.
