they are perm!!!! omg they felt like butter!!! very moisturizing and very opaque i love the color selection!!!! they are also a bit bigger than normal lipsticks the tops have a magnetic closure to help keep them moist!! they have more of an hour glass shape to them as well

That's not good

I never had the inclination to buy any Sheen Supremes even though I adore some of the colours. The testers are just too squishy!

So, knowing that these are a bit bigger than normal MAC lipsticks, I wonder how much bigger? If it's significantly more product plus an amazing (and I mean earth-shattering) new formula, maybe the price increase will almost be justified...

I do love magnetic closures- they're such a great little feature. I'll be curious to hear reviews of the formula when it comes out. I think that the price increase does fit with Mac's overall effort to move into the high-end world. The fact that they're permanent explains why the colour choices are more "safe"- things that will sell regularly over time.

But times have changed. When i put on any lipstick, i barely twist it up much at all. All you need for your lips is just enough past the end of the tube so your lips don't touch the tube.

When i put on any lipstick, i barely twist it up much at all. All you need for your lips is just enough past the end of the tube so your lips don't touch the tube.

Seriously! I can't count the number of times custies would twist it all the way up, just to swatch it on their hand! Then they'd stick the tube back in the displayer, still twisted up. I'd pick it right back up and twist it back to how it was, but they never got the point. People have no common sense.
