MAC x Hayley Williams (April 2013)

I'm NW20. I decided to give this another shot. I use the MAC BB cream and set it with studio fix power & a light dusting of Lightscapade. It adds a nice glow and looks much better than I remember. I think the BB cream has something to do with it.

I have no idea how they'll compare but the promo pic of the e/s it looks more coral to me than orange. I was really hoping for a nice, neonish orange in the VP formula. Well, one outta two aint' bad, I would love a nice coral in the VP formula as well. I just object to calling it orange. Maybe the promo pic just doesn't capture the real thang. Let's hope!

And Nordstrom has always had Lightscapade on the website. If I'm not mistaken someone said it's permanent, it just doesn't show for some reason on the mac website.

I could not get the hang of applying those shadows. I should get rid of them.

Awe thanks so much hon! I'm very excited to get singing again. I love love music, the thing I love more than makeup. Hehe. Another reason why I want to get something from this. I love Hayley! Now I just need one for Amy Lee, Lizzy Hale, or Maria Brink and I'll be a happy camper.

I hope so too. The color she is wearing is a bit softer than I would expect for "matte orange" and that's ok with me. I don't think I can pull off a deep, bold orange, but I think I can get down with this softer shade. I can't wait for swatches.

Yep! would be a great orange to start off with...I love orange lips but i'm not mentally ready to pull off a bold vibrant orange lip....somehow i get the feeling that this orange will actually be really bold though...considering the collab it might be weirdly disappointing it if was not...

I'm glad that we'll get this collection too now that I've seen a picture of those two. I think I want both and they'll be here perfectly in time for the accession of Willem Alexander (orange is the colour of the netherlands so it fits perfect).
