I agree, quite a bummer. On one good note, I have decided that Pure Zen is my new favourite nude, so it would be nice to get some back ups with the fancy packaging.

Is your initial one in the MM packaging? If so you can always recycle for the regular one and depot them into the special one when it's empty.

So today I was at a MAC counter and I was discussing another collection with this MA and we were talking about pple stalking websites for new collections and I told her how I had waited outside a store once for Marilyn and thennnn she proceeded to tell me that the Marilyn collection was comjn. Back and I was like oh really?? (Playing stupid lol) and so she goes "oh yeah it's the same thing as last year but this time it's just a Macy's exclusive!" And i was like boooooooooo lol (no Macy's in my area) and I asked her if she was for sure and she said yep and her coworker agreed... So I guess don't quote me but that's the word.....

Well that sucks!

Yes! I remember that being the whole BIG thing about this collection, that the pictures that MAC was using were all never before seen and super special. I guess if Macy's has created a line based around those pictures, they could be able to sway MAC into reproducing the old collection.

In a way i'm relieved this is coming to Macy's because that's where i go to get my MAC stuff. Anything else is too far and not worth the drive so has to be ordered online or by phone. As far as being the same things from the first collection...yay! I can pick up the dazzleglasses i didn't have a chance to get and get Deeply Adored for my sister.

I posted this in the other MM forum but I hated Silver Screen and so I broke the e/s off the pan and pressed melon pigment into it few months ago and I am so much happier with it.

The Bay tends to get the Nordies exclusives, but I don't know if MAC would extend that kind of arrangement.

Glad this is supposed to be the same collection I only missed the perfect cheek so I'll try to get that and another DA for me n one for my momma. maybe another FM bp but if I miss it all I will be ok I still have plenty of everything from the original release.... I'm just glad I won't have to stalk again lol
