Thanks for the suggestion. It's one of the contenders.

Used this today mixed with a little strobe cream and applied with a 187 and loved it! Go figure! I thought mixing with strobe cream would've made it that much more glowy but it didn't. I think using the 187 also helped as I'm figuring out that a little goes a very long ways.

So I had a sample of this I tried on this Saturday. I took NC15 (normally I use NC20 and F&B in C2 atm) because I read about the oxydation. My skin is super dry. I used my hands to apply. There was this odd glow when applying but later it did not look other than a bit cakey because I used a good amount and it really did not oxydize on me. I looked rather white because it was lighter than I usually go for. I can't say I 'felt' it. I did not wear it the whole day, but later I noticed that it accentuated some dry spots I did not remember having.

I'm sticking with my F&B (and MSFN). I could use a lighter shade though, but C1 is so yellow. I have never got to buy them both & mix.

I finally wore my sample. It is definitely moisturizing, but I have dry combination skin, so it isn't too bad. I set the foundation with mineralize skinfinish.

I had no oxidation. It basically looks like my skin but better. I dont know why MAC claims this to be a light coverage foundation. A little goes a long way.

A little does go a long way, but I don't know what that has to do with the coverage (if that's what you meant). I had the same experience, a little really goes a long way. Both times I've tried it I have had to wipe some off. But... it's very sheer to me. I checked my makeup in the car and my skin looked ok, but I could really really see the flaws in my skin. Inside lighting was a little better. I'll keep playing with it. It might just be a little too dewy for me.

NARS Sheer Glow--have you tried that one?
Sheer Glow made my face feel SUPER dry and tight! I do have dehydrated skin but it made it feel ridiculously parched and mask-like.

The only foundations that actually feel nice on my skin are F&B and Bourjois healthy Mix.

I didn't like sheer glow either. Bourjois is great though! And another that I highly recommend is chanel vitalumiere aqua. Gorgeous finish!

I have a lot of pink around my nose. This foundation covered that without concealer. Most foundations marketed as sheer have never done that for me. It's weird.

Meaghanb123 Do you have dry skin? If so how do you like the strobe cream? Ive always had the complete mositure cream but i think my skin has gotten use to it.

New member here, first post, yay!
I've been wearing this foundation for five days now, and I love it! Normal-combination skin (slightly oily t-zone, very slightly, and normal-dry cheeks), usually a Studio Sculpt wearer. It's simply amazing! Only on sunday, after an Easter carb-overload, LOL, I noticed I had to blot twice instead of once in the afternoon, but otherwise I'm enjoying the luminous finish. I wear NC20 (like in Studio Sculpt, in the summer I wear SFF in NC20 also but I find it's darker), and use Medium-Dark Blot Powder Pressed to set it as I always do. Highly recommended!

Hello, new member! I love this new MAC Mineralize foundation, as well. At first, I was a bit unsure about it because it seemed to be "too" dewy on me. Finally, I realized that I could skip using moisturizer before applying this foundation--just as I did when my skin was still quite young. Finally, MAC has created a foundation that doesn't break my skin out. It is really nice. I love the coverage, finish and the long wear as well!

I thought I was NW25 ( pressed powder recommanded by my MAC store here ) but the powder turned out to be too dark for my skin. NW20 would be ok then I suppose ?
Thanks in advance !

Clearly this person either doesn't feel that way or doesn't know that to be an absolute fact. If so many people are "reading her wrong" it may be time for her to consider why that may be.
