What about SV changed your mind about AD? Colourwise SV is more brown-toned (atleast on me) than AD, which is more of a true "blush pink". Definitely check it out in person tho. I thought it was gonna be too pink for me, but it's absolutely gorgeous!
Even though it's described as a mid-tone rose pink, there appears to be a smidgen of dusty rose that gives me the most natural-looking flush that SV gives me. If it works for me when I swatch it - great! - and if not, well then I'll get plenty of use with the other three I have. It's gorgeous shade. I really want it just on sight alone - but I have to be logical and try it first.

Thanks for posting these, because I just completely did a 180, again. Since Allura's, T's, Erine's swatches, Liba's review came out & along with these pictures I've done a mess of 360's this week about this collection! These pictures are great! Do you know if she has a blog? I'd like to read what type of foundation she used, etc.
I just pictured one of the girls going round in circles before finally deciding when to lay down!

I have had the same problem. I originally wanted to order a blush or two, then changed my mind. I was sticking to it, then I saw these pictures and now I think I want Bareness and At dusk.

I looked through her instagram and I didn't see anything about a blog.

I can definitely see a bit of dusty colour to it. I just wish SV wasn't so intense. I have to use a very light hand with it. Downfalls of being a jelly :(

Thanks so much - you know me, I love getting all detailed and analytical with this stuff :p

I'm still pretty much one day at a time for now - I've got more tests coming up in a week or so. It's amazing how much one gall stone attack can take out of your body. It's like every little bit and piece of my body got totally shaken up and everything has to find its way back to its usual place. The trend seems upward at least - I want to keep my darn gall bladder for sure.

As for your question, I wouldn't know for sure, but considering the blushes showed up well layered on top of the EDSF (without foundation underneath), I'd assume yes.

I don't wear foundation that often, but I'm still going to go for these blushes because most of the blushes I own are ones that I think look better on bare skin, so these will be really handy compared to what I already have for when I do. There's still other tricks to try out anyhow - I need to try them right after moisturizing over bare skin - that might bring out the color too.

I'm NC50 so when I initially swatched SV in the store, I wasn't impressed with it, but I had already bought it at that point. I sold it to another Specktrette and not too long after that I saw a few posts from others (Glamqueen is one that comes to mind) within the same skin tone range raving about it. I went back and gave it another chance and now I love it! If it weren't for that, I wouldn't even give At Dusk another thought.

Fingers crossed it works for you then!

Mine were finger watches as well, no base. Glad I'm not the only one liking them! I don't find them sheer or lacking pigment at all either. It seems to me that people are gravitating to colours that are too light for their skintones, which would cause a "lack of pigmentation" situation. :dunno:
it's not lacking pigmentation because i swatched one of the shadows from glamour daze and the pigmentation was the same as the new edes.

That definitely qualifies as jelly status!!! :pompom:
jelly party! Now that some of you have your blushes how does BH compare to other oranges we've seen (ie Modern Mandrain, Supercontinental, etc.)? & am I seeing it correctly on my computer that FI has more red in it? Thank you in advance.

From Keepitclassy_1 on instagram.  For reference she says she's an NC40/42 I was not going to get any of the blushes, but I think I changed my mind after seeing these photos.  I love at Dusk. :)
I'm glad I picked up At Dusk but this making me think I need to get Bareness as well. The longer and longer I wait for the EDSFs the less interested I'm becoming. I might just pick up Bareness and be done with this collection. I just hope that Baking Beauties doesn't follow the new MAC trend of "coming soon." I don't know what's worse: stalking for items and having them sell out in 5 minutes or stalking for items only to have them "coming soon" for a week.

Yay I just keep getting happier and happier about my purchases! But I can usually make any color work it just more or less if I'd use it and I really am glad I got the darker ones! But the pink swatches KEEP tempting me ugh!!!
Hi hun! What blushes did you buy??? LMK if you are going to sell any you don't care for! Hope you are doing great. I still haven't even broken into the Havana I bought from you. It's in my 'to do' file, make that to do pile :)

Hi Yazmin, what 3 did you all end up getting? & can you please remind me what skintone you are in MAC speak? Thanks!

That's so weird cuz i didn't have a prob with those blushes either :hmm: must be a skin type thing as well. I love blush (blush whore), and tend to pile lighter shades in as well, even with great pigmentation. So even if these did have a lack of it, I'd still be fine with piling it on. Seems like these blushes are either one way or the other, split evenly among different opinions. I guess everyone should just check them out for themselves before buying them, if they can.

BH is definitely more along the lines of MM (orangy) and less so compared to supercontinental (corally). And yes, FI is a burnt orangy red.

You don't wanna look like a mermaid? I've always wanted to be a mermaid. Ever since i can remember, that's all i wished i could be. Swimming with my legs crossed like a tail, having dreams that i could breathe under water, watching the movie Splash over and over. Man i wish i was a mermaid! :(
