I like your orange juice/orange peel description. Makes perfect sense. I wonder how this will look on me. I don't think I have any lipstick that's a true orange. I can get a sense of how orange it will be from your swatches. My stuff will be delivered tomorrow. I'm nervous now.

You shouldn't be nervous CC. You can definitely rock this---look at your amazing skintone!!

Lol, I have absolutely no problems using liners. Love them. I plan to also experiment with Auburn and my new Ablaze liner. I'll probably try Plum too.

I hope to try Lasting Sensation & What A Blast with SLN too. I also HAVE to wear a liner w/bold lips.

It really is a beautiful color!!!

Finally caved and got Daydreaming...I think it will be an amazing color on WOC this summer. I'm still on the fence about SLN

My look this morning, Daydreaming on the lid and under the lower lashes blended out into Wedge, Lightscapade on my cheeks and SNL on my lips by itself. I'm NW10-15 for reference.

i'm slightly hesitant to try SLN since my last orange lipstick purchase (fashion nomad) i felt like it brought out too much green undertones in my skin. do you have any suggestions for how i can perhaps balance out this problem with the rest of my makeup? (i range between nc 43 and nc 45 depending on the season.)

I've gone and ordered SLN. I'm actually a bit nervous about it arriving because I don't own any orange lipsticks, so I'm worried whether it's going to look weird against my pale colouring. But it looked so pretty in the promo picture on MAC's site that I couldn't resist it.

I've actually got a huge case of skipper's remorse over Daydreaming. As soon as I saw that it was a veluxe pearl coral, I knew that I had to have it, but when swatches went up on Temptalia, I was massively underwhelmed, so I decided to go to my nearest counter and buy some permanent stuff instead (Lady Danger, for instance). But now I've seen different swatches and I'm back in love with Daydreaming, but it's too late.

Perhaps finding a blogger whose skin tone is close to yours would help? I read T's blog all the time, but I don't go by her swatches because they always look different (sometimes almost dramatically) than they do on me. SLN looks much brighter on her than it does on me.

I ordered SNL. I passed on daydreaming bc I feel I have so many similar shades but it looks beautiful on everyone! I'm hoping SNL is lighter than it looks on xsparkage. So hard to tell as it looks different on everyone! Lol!

So MAC had some delays/screwups when packing orders, so my es is coming today, but the lipstick (which I ordered way before the es) won't be here until Monday. Hate that

I forgot to say, When I recieved my items today my lipstick was actually out of its box (the box was there) puzzled me how it was out the box because the lipstick didnt even look like it was touched. I pulled out the box first and was like HUH where's my lipstick lol.

I don't think so, don't get me wrong it's not like Ruby Woo in the drying formula but it is dry.
