Last summerr quads bumped to $40. Then with AG the special deco quads were $44.

i'm unable to totally skip the pencils...but maybe i'll just get two pencils + one blush...i'm thinking the brown and the black, or maybe the copper and the black. i like underdressed gloss, but i might have to trim the list a little more since everything is so inflated in price!Edit: i just looked at the swatches again. I don't know if i can skip em

Calling my "local" CCO tomorrow to see if they have the 167SH. I actually prefer last year's version to this year's. Plus it will be cheaper.
TR quad is a no-no. Do we have any ideas of dupes for Swelter? Looks like Beauty Marked might be better in the quad than in the permanent eyeshadow line.
BMS quad looks so basic besides When In Rio. I feel like I can't justify it at $44. |: We'll see, but I'm leaning toward the "wait-and-hope-it-shows-up-at-the-CCO" side.
Ugh, I don't know. I feel like swatches are making me indifferent to this collection and the prices aren't helping.

I was considering this collection a skip but my interest is rising..... need more swatches of Hot Nights, Caliente and Sheer Seduction - they are the items tempting me..

I've given myself a limit of only 3 items from this collection. 2 spots are already taken for sure! 1. Ripe for love blush (everytime I see it, 2 words come to mind : "hot damn"), 2. BMS quad (I know it's $44 but there's no way in hell I'm skipping it!) and 3. A tie between feel my pulse lippie, a bronzer, and the other eyeshadow quad. If I was able to financially, I'd get all the times listed and then some but hey, something's gotta give.

First of all, keep breathing.
Then, look through your stash and put it in ship-shape order.
Then, look at those swatches again and see which ones are basically the same as ones you already have.
Cross them off your list.
Rince and repeat.
I have a limited budget myself and am trying to be ruthless in my choices here.
With the emphasis on trying!
I've already crossed the quad from my list and am down to the fatties.
I'll wait to swatch them in person (when they arrive!) and compare them to the ones I have.
Sigh. Let's face it- money talks.

I'm a little sad there isn't any stand out highlight powder/msf/blusher if you know what I mean? Previous years the summer collections have always had some sort of special powder with a fancy design.

Ok finally I have gotten through the 300+ comments that I was behind in. I am loving the new swatches that have been posted... My list is still pretty long
Lipglass: ALL of them
Lipsticks: "Altered Beige" "Feel My Pulse" and "Caliente"
Blush: "Ripe for Love"
Fatties: "Polished Jet" and "Copper Strip"
I wanted the purple polish also, but $18 for polish, even after my MAC PRO discount isnt worth it to me....

I found Hush in my "squirrelled" away section too (stuff I bought but haven't had a chance to play with yet) Now that I know its a duochrome, I will move it to the top of the pile... BTW, I think Ripe for Love blush needs to be renamed, b/c everytime I see it abrievated as RFL, I think Rolling on Floor Laughing, which would be a great name for a blush now I think about it...

LOLz. For crappy polish that still looks streaky after 3 coats? I will stick with ORLY, China Glaze, and the old stand by OPI.MAC can lick a nut with their $18 nail polish.
Okay, revoke my team purple card if you must, but now the polish is a skip and the TR quad I am taking you guys advice and wait for it to pop up at the CCO. The blushes are both gorgeous but I think dupeable, so they are on the fence. AND, I can antienable on the big fat eye liners, they are not unique colors, (but pretteh!), not safe for waterline, and will be a pain in the arse to sharpen, so they are prolly a skip. The bronzers I have plenty of them already (nothing like going thru one's stash to kill some lemmings). So that leaves the 2 dazzles lippies and the glitterlicious gloss for me (and maybe the BMS quad, but I could snag that at the CCO as well). All aboard team glitter hoors! This could bring my haul to less than a C-note!
