I do own deep end from UD but Parrot looks darkerget it! you won't regret it
check your stash first though
it is a lot more blue than many turquoises
I just compared it to shimmermoss and deep end (urban decay)
L to R : Shimmermoss, parrot, deep end

Banafsaji over primer/without Parrot without/over primer
They are both a tad stiff and needed more than one layer to achieve this (what's the word?) lol
Banafsaji is definitely my favorite of the two.

Used a large fluffy brush to apply Hajar Karim. Totally needs to be packed on to get this color. Finger swatching for this is a fail.
I'm kinda disappointed since it does say Veluxe pearl on the box but it is dry/matte to the touch.
The back of my shadow didnt have the name sticker. Anyone else experience this?

That's strange that Veluxe Pearl is on the box. Most bloggers have it listed as matte, and as most of us know, it IS matte so I wonder why they put VP on the box? Nope I was expecting matte but its veluxe on the box so I was hoping that it was supposed to be veluxe but they made a boo boo and its matte... I can only dream lol

Are you sure the box didn't say Veluxe, rather than VP? It's really a Veluxe finish, tho T and everyone else mentioned it wrongly as a matte, as they are quite different.

Does anybody know of a good dupe for Beautyburst? I have the Guerlain Turandot palette, and the 2 middle shades look like they might be kind of similar. One of the colours is abit lighter and the others abit darker/more plum. I love both of these colours and can tell I would love Beautyburst but I'm not going to buy the quad for just one colour. So I'd really appreciate any possible dupes? TIA

i can see where the confusion with it being matte comes from since its so dry. I'll play with it for a bit before I decide to return it.

And try not to use your finger on it. Veluxes are easily ruined from skin oils. Same for if you have oily lids, the oils will tranfer from your brush, so keep an eye out on the top layer of the shadow.
