over ALTERED BEIGE!

"It is quite frankly one of the prettiest nude lippies I've seen in forever"- (she gushed while nervously eyeballing a New York Treasury's hapless pyramid of similar lippies in her vanity- 12 step program anyone?) Stupid Cheryl Cole & Nicole Scherzinger with their deviously, un-replicable come hither nude poutiness!
Cheers-

Innocence Beware ...that gives me the warm fuzzies! Boy, my list keeps changing so much from post to post. I still want most of the lipsticks and lipglasses, but I think I will pass on the darker tones. It's still a go for RFL. I do have to admit that I am finding myself repeatedly looking at Swelter. Hmmm, what's a girl to do?!

Don't get me wrong. My first impression of FMP was: that's it? (*spoiled brat) Buuuuut I had a few lipsticks I wanted to try on my lips. Since I use lip pencil 99.9999999% of the time l/s tends to look messier etc than what I am used to. I'll try it again with a decent lip liner. That'll pimp it right up, I am sure. On it's own it just didn't jump out as being unique among the purples I have.
Rediscovered Daddy's Little Girl when swatching. Really? Were you that beautiful?

Wore it twice and then it moved right in with the rest. Party Parrot, Pink Pigeon, Scarlet Ibis and a handful of other lippies I always keep close to me. Ablaze reminded me of a distant cousin of PaPa, hence the

Oh no! It's closer to rebel, a more red purple.
oh ok. i'll probably skip it in that case. rebel is one of those shades that looks good on me in theory...but in practice it's just ok....

those pencils are not stopping looking terrific...and the strobe liquid. i'm excited for that one.

question - when one uses strobe liquid/cream, is it okay to put it all over the face, or does it work more like a highlighter, in which case you might not want to put it everywhere but just on the 'high' points?

I agree! I skipping the pencils for sure now. They're too short and too $$$ it's not worth it! You can use strobe liquid/cream either way. Dewy skin is in right now, so go for it!

I use strobe cream like a moisturizer for my face. :) That's probably not correct though... lol

Hmm... still not sure if I'm skipping the Powerchromes. I know everyone's saying they're super expensive, but the only other cream shadows I use besides Paint Pots are the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks, and they're $24 for 0.05 oz. So... I paid more money for a little less product than the MAC ones. That being said, they're twist-ups so you don't lose product from sharpening, and I did get them during that 12 Days of Christmas deal when it was buy two get one free.

I fully intend to get more of the Caviar Sticks down the line (and if they do that deal again, oh boy will it get crazy over here), so I should just skip these, right? Someone enable my decision LOL

I'm starting to take interest in the strobe liquid, but I have oily skin :( But I still like the idea of a dewy finish... I was gonna only purchase the BMS quad, but FMP lipstick made it on my list... I also wanted a blush, but I already ordered the two jumbo size Nars + Pierre Hardy blushes...
