Is anyone who is NW10-20ish picking up the strobe liquid? The original suits me fine but I'm very tempted.... I don't tan and I never use bronzer but I'm thinking it may give a little pop of color for the summer. Any thoughts? 

I'd skip it. This is gonna be better suited for medium to darker skintones.

I agree! BMS is on my list for that reason. I really want the TR quad but I may wait for the store release to get it. I'll have more cash by then. Erine is going to kill me because I skipped out on RFL. :lecture:  I read someone here compared to ED Blazing Haute, which I have. I think I can live with that. lol What I ordered so far: BMS quad, Caliente l/s, Soft Serenade l/g. I even opted for overnight shipping. Although, since I'm in Cali it won't get processed until tomorrow.

So, I just noticed that the brush listed here shows 167sh but the collection shows it as 167se.  Is the new one really an sh instead?

Go by what it's listed as.

BH is much more subtle even on me, unless I really pile it on or wear it over foundation. It's like a half-strength RFL. I don't really know the NARS blushes in person, so I wouldn't want to compare, but RFL is extremely pigmented, plus it's not made light by adding white into the color mix, but rather gets it's level of brightness from yellow instead, plus it has brown and a touch of red in it, so it's not pastel at all. I think it will look absolutely fabulous on deep skin tones and you'll just have color, rather than a highlighting effect like you get from BH, which is much more translucent. I think the deeper your skin tone, the more BH and RFL are going to work as two very different products, which seems like a better reason to buy it!

the strobe oil surprised me. I only like purple lipstick others to sheer for me. Not a fan of the beauty powders. My mac havin an event w a live dj super xcited.

Just a reminder, it's not an oil. There is an oil with this collection, but that's the (doesn't really bronze) bronzing oil. The strobe liquid isn't an oil.

Yeah, that's the bronzing oil. The strobe liquid is a golden liquid lotion.

I ordered 2--okay, it's not just me!:macwallet:  I didn't order any lip products or bronzers--these look amazing (I'm still tempted by them), but I had to cut somewhere.

I'm with ya! My MAC girl told me how amazing it is and she's the same skin tone as me - she was like "I'm buying 4" lol.

Check out my posts - I felt it was very close to Blazing Haute, but they behave differently. You have to build BH up layer by layer and RFL is so pigmented, you have to blend it down and buff, rather than build. They have a different effect on the skin, BH allowing the natural skin texture to come through with that gel to powder formula it has, plus it has more of a dewey effect. RFL is basically standard powder blush, but definitely nicely milled and very blendable. Finally, BH has ruddier undertones while RFL has a little ruddiness, but also yellow and brown undertones in the mix.

I really like RFL and am having a tough time getting it out of my mind, but BH shares a little too much with it to allow myself the extra expense when there are so many other things that are more unique in this collection. It's really pretty and summery, though!

How does the strobe liquid compare to a Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector? I'm trying to gauge if its a subtle sheen or a shimmer
