MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

I just got home and my box of goodies was waiting for me!

I'm so glad I picked up a bronzer in this packaging! It suits it so well. So pretty

I haven't tried anything yet (Both quads, sun dipped + altered beige) since I still have my makeup on but there is plenty of time over the long weekend to play around with everything, yay! I am happy with everything I purchased.

I haven't regretted skipping on RFL yet. I just told myself that more similar colours will come our way - no doubt. I have to start saving $$$!
It's only been one day after the collection release and I'm already thinking and prepping for the next collection lol. Damn sickness!

yup now stalking aao and rrw.. hubby thinks I need help and should be enrolled in MAA sessions (MAC ADDICTIONS ANONYMOUS) ha!

Sometimes Fedex leaves packages between the screen door which worked out perfect during the colder months. But with the weather warming up it turns into an oven if I forget to lower the glass (which I did forget >_<)! It had me worried all day. Luckily the package wasn't left there Phew!

I think from now on I will be cautious and just place any possible melty products in the fridge before playing with them. The only down side of Summer time

yup paypal for me as well.. my cc has been compromised in the past as well.. but mac Canada doesn't take paypal so it sucks when we get online only launches.. usually means ebay is the only place to go looking for a must have product with their evil prices ..unlike u.s cant even order from mac'sy or nordies.. sad sad sad.. im missing out on rrw yet again. sad.


edit: looks like there just might be hope. just found out from another thread that I can use reloadable cc on the mac website. will have to try that out

Nope.

MAC's base is hardly tinted at all, so the look is very strongly nuthin' but magenta glitter (after 2 or 3 coats - the first coat is awful). I love glitter, but i think it's kinda jr. high looking.

DL's BR has a black base, so, in my opinion, the ultimate look is more sophisticated - although i don't know how many coats it takes, since i haven't tested it, but i'm guessing the first coat won't be as disappointing as MAC's.

Now that you've mended it, be sure NOT to screw it up very far. All you really need is just enough surface to reach your lips, pretty much just the angled face.

That's actually true of almost every lipstick - no need to crank them up much at all. They just do that in movies for the glam effect and in advertising so the lipstick color shows more.

Lesson learned. I will no crank up my lipsticks that much. Sad I learned the hard way with such a pretty lipstick. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I'm so in love with this collection and I loveeee cliente and underdressed they're both really glittery which I loveeeeee

def going to have to back those babies up. The blushe's are pigmented love them both as well and the bare my soul quad is pretty as well as pigmented and I love when in rio. Can't wait till my liquid strobe and Feel my pulse gets here.
