MAC Nudes & Metallics Collection (April 2013) Pro Store Only

I must say that every time I see this thread I beam like a proud mama.
I wore a basic look today with Body Conscious e/s and it was so pretty. I did see some fine sparkles peeking thru at me when I looked in the rearview mirror and was momentarily alarmed then I realized that it was b/c of Mooncake pp that I had used as a base. All I added was eyebrow pencil, mascara and GAT l/g.
I also love combining BC with Brazenly e/s.The colors, texture, quality in this collection are all excellent and play nicely with each other. My mom loves Show-All and PR Lipsticks she was gifted. I backed up all the metallic e/s except DF (sold out when I called again) and also somehow ended up with three BC. I will say again that Mac did an excellent job this time around. Stylish Me Blush and Exposed e/s are the ones that got away and have been haunting me since April. I will resist however as I think that three orders (even if one shipment was free) should suffice but then.......you never kno when the temptation hits and the enabling, I mean posts starts coming in again, lol

Maybe this will help you decide? Vex in the inner 1/2, the rest is all Crimson Tryst with some Inglot 391 to deepen the crease and outer V. Usual transition business with Omega, a bit of Blank Type to tidy things up. Brazenly is along the lower lashline, but you'll have to take my word for it lol. The application and colour payoff of both shadows was amazing 

Pre-Raphaelite on the lips, Barefaced on the cheeks.

@ Pinkdollface - I haven't had Vex for long. It "happened" when a EUR5 off code from Douglas was about to expire and they didn't have any of the LE items I was after. I looked at some reviews on Makeupalley and decided to get Vex. It's a very versatile colour. I like it a lot. I understand that it works really well on a dark base too. Maybe I'll try it one day over my black Chromaline pot.

@ jennyap - How hard is it for you to get hold of CT? If it's just a matter of phoning the pro store I'd say it's well worth it.

I wish I'd got Exposed too. I skipped it because I was worried it would be too warm for me. I skipped Rimal Dahabia from AOTE for the same reason. I really want it now. Gah!

I managed to get Dominate lipstick, but i also wanted three eyeshadows:
-- Brazenly - Deep metallic purple
-- Crimson Tryst - Deep metallic mid-tone berry
-- Loves Lure - Metallic deep red

How do you like Dominate? I haven't worn it yet.

Got it from a Specktrette. Still waiting for the package to arrive. Should be reeeeeaaaal soon (today or tomorrow).

I thought i could pass on it. But then i saw it compared to some dark purple lipsticks i have and like, and it was even bluer. So i had to get it. I'll let you know what i think when it arrives.

So earlier today i was thinking about people calling the 800 number to get this because i thought that number was just for Staff/Pro but in my finding out that it is not, i also found out that when this collection comes up, the customer service rep said that when this collection comes up online it will be for everyone not just Pro. She didn't have a date but she did know it would be out in June, but she said it's DEF going to be up for everyone and not just Pro so hope that helps yall

The pkg with Dominate arrived yesterday. I tried it on, but, well, the lighting in my apt. just isn't great. I do like the color - it's dark dark purple with a blue cast. But it didn't look particularly metallic. I'll have to try it on when there's daylight and see if it looks any shinier.

The daylight will help bring out more of the metallic in the lipstick for sure

Yeah in the stores, but there have been collections that have been specific to just certain stores, or certain type of stores, so i don't see it as different i guess.

Either way as you said we will see. I guess i have confidence in her bc she hasn't really let me down any other time when i put in orders through them *shrugs*. If it's not up for all, you always have the option to order from them still.

My understanding from corporate is that if you call the 800 it will be available to you of you're a pro or not but online the only way you'll see it is if you are logged in to a pro account. I guess we'll know soon enough but I have been given incorrect info from the regular CS people at the 800# but never had incorrect info when transferred to the pro members CS.

This does make sense... They DID make PRO only items available on the regular site recently, so people who are not pro can still access pro products. So your contact saying it would be available for everyone could be correct and follow this new format of pro items being accessible online even if your not an actual pro account. I have a pro account but I DO think everyone should be able to access these wonderful products! Hope your lady friend is right for everyone's sake! It would stink to have to call and go through all that for non-pro members...

Considering all the other PRO shadows and lipsticks are available online to everyone it would make sense that this collection would be as well.
