MAC Nudes & Metallics Collection (April 2013) Pro Store Only

I'm glad MAC is releasing this on their regular site. I just hope they have plenty of stock because if everything sells out in a hot minute I'm going to be freaking annoyed! It's not like you can run down to the store to pick up your goodies. I'll be stalking the site ready to pounce on Exposed eyeshadow, hopefully with a free shipping code handy!

When the Marilyn collection was re-released recently as a Macy's exclusive, i picked up Deeply Adored. I don't normally wear reds, but i don't mind DA (ok, i kinda like it

So i'm wondering if either Pre-Raphaelite or Show-All is close in color. Anyone have swatches? If one is similar or darker that would be great.

We had N&M like two months ago, so I guess the uk should've gotten it around the same time.. only our pro store had N&M though.

Well I guess that's my fault for missing out then. I wasn't informed of anything as I'd just moved house and had no internet etc. So disappointed. The metallic shadows look right up my alley.

Yup, might have to ask. It's definitely my thing. Might see if Erine can do it as she's CP'ing me stuff from the Marilyn collection anyway so it could all come at once.

i like DA, but i think i'd prefer something a little darker, so I'm intending to franken my own red, something a tad darker and a tad bluer than DA. But i don't want to go to plum, which Pre-Raphaelite looks to be - i love plum, but i have a boatload of 'em. And Show-All looks a little on the brick side in this photo - i'm fine with cool brown lipsticks, and sometimes even coppery ones, but not really with brick. I guess Dominate will be my only "metallic" lipstick from this collection.

I am toying with Angel's Kiss from among the nudes, but if i don't get it, i'll be ok, i have several other good nudes - Ruffian Naked, Tropical Mist, Altered Beige - and i don't wear nudes often.

Show-all has a lot of brown. The base colour is very very similar to that of Camden Chic. I have a comparison pic somewhere upthread.

And yes, Pre-raphaelite is plum. I haven't got a lot of similar colours in my stash so I'm really pleased to have bought it. But if you do have a lot of plum lippies there really is no point.

I skipped Angel's Kiss in favour of Nearly Nude because the latter was a bit darker. How do you like Altered Beige? I got Sheer Seduction on a whim, but I'm regretting not having bought AB instead.

I have "show all" and "dominate" and Im undecided between "pre-raphaelite" and "subverted" :/, I tried looking for swatches online but temptalias look a lot different than how show all and dominate look on me........those of you that have pre-raphaelite and subverted, which one would you recommend or which one is more unique in your opinion

To me Pre-Raphaelite kind of looks like cranberry eyeshadow with out the gold sheen but in a lipstick. If you have mac musky amethyst PR is more reddish brown tone than MS. It's also deeper and more berry compared to New york apple

Vex in the inner 1/2, the rest is all Crimson Tryst with some Inglot 391 to deepen the crease and outer V. Usual transition business with Omega, a bit of Blank Type to tidy things up. Brazenly is along the lower lashline, but you'll have to take my word for it lol.

The application and colour payoff of both shadows was amazing

Pre-Raphaelite on the lips, Barefaced on the cheeks.

Oh lord. Pre-Raphaelite is gorgeous... I'm so tempted. Love shades like that! Tell me there's a dupe in the perm line, lol.

I have Bare Minimum and Glimpse of Flesh. I'm very happy with both but they're nowhere near as striking as the metallics. That said, I still want Exposed
