MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

I love love love this collection....although I did pass Bare My Soul because I already have so many eyeshadows. The only shadow I really wanted out of the quad is When in Rio but I can't justify buying the quad for one shadow. I already have Club but is there any other dupe out there. I think someone in a previous post mentioned an Inglot shade? Lastly, I really really love Caliente and Sheer Seduction. I will be so happy if MAC brings out more colors in this formula!!

Well, I still love RFL and will probably reach for that one the most out of what I bought. It was a lovely collection... Used my NoB again today (HS version) because I have been alternating with Laguna and Sun Dipped bit I really like it. I liked it last year and I still like it. RFL is just the finishing touch to my bronzeyish look. Current faves are RFL, Boys Don't Cry and Royal Sunset will be used too.

For me it was too pink. I was expecting more orange...idk why lol I have modern mandarin. I love honey jasmin! I'm currently on some orange or caramel blush thing right now.

I think this was my favorite collection and i havent claimed a collection as such in a really long time.
I got the Temperature Rising quad because I've got green eyes and those colours really look good. I use it a lot and I can do a daily look or a more sultry look. I keep reaching for the quad!

So basically I haven't gotten a chance to play with BMS, RFL, and FMP. That part of my haul (from Macy's) got "lost" in the mail. When I first tracked the package it said "delivered" but then it changed to "forwarded to address on file". I moved recently so I assumed they would send the package, just like my other forwarded mail, to the new address. After speaking with USPS (the first time) I was assured of this. She said it should be delivered within 7-10 business days. WRONG. It had been like 15 business days (including Saturdays) so I finally called USPS again and they had to open a case for me. My new local USPS facility claims they never received it and to contact the sender. Macy's said they didn't receive it either in their warehouse. Mind you, track and confirms says it was forwarded on May 25th so Macy's should have it by now, right? NO. The Macy's representative I spoke with yesterday was nice she was able to locate all of the items (I was so worried everything was completely sold out) and I got free express shipping so everything should be here tomorrow. It's bittersweet because I paid double for BMS, RFL, and FMP x2 and have to wait for Macy's to receive the package to credit my account back.

Macy's CS is so sketchy. I hated how they strung me along for weeks thinking I was getting a CIS from the MM collection and then credited my account over a month later when they never sent it. Womp Womp

I do hope you get a chance to use your goodies soon. I think the 3 items you got were the stand outs!

Well that's irritating!! I feel like this kind of thing happens way more lately than in past years, but maybe it's just me. I'm glad the Macy's rep sorted everything out for you and that your goodies should be on your doorstep tomorrow...fingers crossed for you that it goes smoothly! And I have the same question as MACina: You don't get a refund for the lost package if Macy's never gets the first package back?

I had the same thing happen to me! Only difference is that I originally received CIS and DA (also got PZ and 2 lip liners in Redd and Cherry) but they were both damaged (broken at the base with DA being a mess inside the tube). Contacted Macy's immediately and they did a replacement order for the 2 lipsticks. They initially said that they were on back order until late June. I received DA about a week after they placed the order. Got the email yesterday about CIS being canceled and refunded to my Macy's card. This is the first canceled order I've ever had with them and the first damaged product order although I admit I've rarely ordered makeup through them.

What a fiasco! It amazes me how the finger pointing starts when these things happen. Hoping your goods arrive tomorrow and your account gets
credited no matter what----it's the right thing to do!

Did you use a Macy's store or credit card? Or a different one? If it's a different one you can contact your CC company and get a much quicker credit back to your account (usually within 24 hrs). Macy's credited my account the same day as I called in a about my damaged MM collection lipsticks (but in that case they also resubmitted the charges for the replacements they were supposed to be sending....per my previous post). If they know the package is lost (at least for now) they should credit you back immediately unless they send the replacement package without charging again. They should never had charged you again to reship. Hope you get everything straightened out...

I'm usually not a fan of gloss but I tried underdressed over caliente the other day and I loved the combo! very pretty for summer. Ripe for love is lovely as well but can someone tell me how the hell is hot nights so damn pigmented! I barely put any on my brush otherwise i look like a clown lol

Did you use a Macy's store or credit card? Or a different one? If it's a different one you can contact your CC company and get a much quicker credit back to your account (usually within 24 hrs). Macy's credited my account the same day as I called in a about my damaged MM collection lipsticks (but in that case they also resubmitted the charges for the replacements they were supposed to be sending....per my previous post). If they know the package is lost (at least for now) they should credit you back immediately unless they send the replacement package without charging again. I think that you have to get a refund because it is obvious that you didn' t receive the package.
It is not your fault!!!USPS is responsible for the lost package!
Are packages shipped via USPS insured?
I know, right? Thanks I hope so too.

I don't think I will order from Macy's online again after this...as for that I didn't ask because hopefully the package turns up in the warehouse and I get my refund! Regardless I better get refunded!
