Just got off the phone with Macy's. The representative verified that USPS has a tracking status of "delivered" and "forwarded" and spoke with his lead who had a similar situation. He put in a claim to request for credit which I should see in 3-5 business days. But I'm calling back because I realized that I paid with PayPal and want to know how that would work.

ETA: Turns out it will go to my linked card and will take 7-10 business days. Better late then never, right?

I was about to say that it should go back to your linked card. PayPal can just be a little slow doing it though. Great news though...as long as you're getting your money back that's all that matters!

On my laptop, it's not a problem, but it doesn't always work on my iPad or iPhone, in which case I refresh and it then goes to the first unread post. I thought I was the only one getting those 'Thanks' notifications. I went back into my profile and unchecked that box.

Just wanted to give an update to those who were concerned for me:

So I received an e-mail from Macy's early this morning saying that the order within the "lost" package was cancelled and I will be refunded. Should see that money in 3-5 business days. But that wasn't the e-mail I was checking for. Checked my e-mails again and received an e-mail from UPS saying they delivered my package(s) today! I called my boyfriend and told him to check once he goes home for his break.

He just called back and said he has my packages and put them on the table for me.
