Nope, these babies are quite different. They have an amazing sheen and the color changes a bit depending on the angle and the light. This isn't just a case of a highlight shining when the light is on it. The color actually changes. They are quite unusual. No still photo is going to be able to show the effect.

As i wrote in my review, NONE of the blushes or MSFs are glittery. They have a sheen, which can be seen in the photos, but NO glitter. And the sheen changes with the angle. Some look satiny at one angle and have sheen at another. Others have a sheen of a certain color at one angle and of a different color at a different angle.

The eye shadows, on the other hand, many are glittery - i noted which had more or less glitter in my review.

Oh, yeah! I think Tropica was the best of the bunch of eyeshadows. However, my box won't be here until sometime next week - California is far from the Kentucky warehouse. I also got Time to Tango and Dare to Bare (i love the cream-lavender combo and its pinky sheen, and it's a color i'll wear all the time) and the 159 Brush.

I'll be waiting on the doorstep of my local MAC on Thursday.

They didn't have Lust when i went in to test, so i couldn't make up my mind about the MSFs. I really can't get them all. I have neutral coloring and rosacea apples, so i'm not real good in strong pinks or oranges. But if they're soft, i can wear both pinks and oranges. While the finish is totally different, i have both Blonde and Redhead and love them both, but i also like cool lavender blushes. Adored was lovely, and Rio was nice, too, so i am still undecided. (waffle, waffle)

And i'm trying to only get one blush. EE is completely out - looked like dirt on me. But Simmer is a lovely warm rose chameleon. And if i can get a Sweet Samba that's got more beige than pink, i'll be happy - a little pink goes a long way on me. But i have to pick only one (whine, whine)

I am looking at Tropica, as I like duochrome/shift effects, but I think I have something like that already in my stash. (I am referring to Tarina Tarantino's Starchild Odyssey.)

None of the other products grabbed me, so I am skipping this unless I hear Tropica is a good pic.

Midnight Mambo is straight up PINK, y'all. Nothing violet about that shit. LOLOLOLOLO

Yeah, as i said in my review, it's really close to so many of the magenta-pinks MAC has put out in the last 12 months or so. If anyone's a h00r for that color, well, i love the mineralize lipstick formula, so it won't be a bad addition to a collection of magenta-pinks.

But if you were expecting something dark, it just ain't gonna deliver.

And i don't know what MAC means when they say "violet", because nearly every time that say that, it's purple. I want blue-violet, dammit!

My order is shipped! I'm hoping it will come in tomorrow while the husband is at work

But after seeing T's swatches I feel like I should've gotten all of the MSFs instead of just Lust and Adored. Maybe I'll brave the crowds on Thursday. Also, I noticed that the Orpheus eye pencil is a repromote. Does anyone have it already? Is it worth getting? I see that they sell it at the Cosmetics Company Outlet that I go to for about $11 so if it's any good I'll go and get it there.

Given that there's a long-weekend holiday coming up in the US, i 'spect my Black Box won't arrive until the Mon or Tues after the 4th...

I'll be out of town, anyway, cooking from medieval recipes over real charcoal (not those nasty briquets), mostly in re-creation medieval pots (and, boy, it takes a long time to boil water that way).

I'll be eager to get my Black Box to jolt me back into the modern world :) (as if a 10 hour drive back from Oregon wouldn't do that)

Cremesheen glasses are my favorite, they're so smooth and shiny and nice. They're my most used lipglosses for sure
I like the Cremesheen glasses as well. I picked up a Star Quality (at least, I think it is.. the name is in Japanese!) at my CCO not that long ago and I love it! I only wish it had more in the tube, though

I'm really thinking about TTT! It looks super pretty.

Anyone else getting it?

It's not a must-have, but it is pretty. Kohl Powers aren't oily-skin friendly items, so I'd definitely recommend testing it out first if you don't already have one and have oily lids.
