MAC Indulge Collection (August 22, 2013)

I feel so pre-programmed to want something from every MAC collection that I'm finding it hard to accept that I'm not enthralled by anything in this collection. I keep trying to make myself want something...even holding off on my order for items I need (and are waiting patiently in my cart for me to order lol). It's not that the collection is bad...it's just not unique. I'm not even in love with the eye shadows (that NEVER happens)...I either already have it (I'm looking at you PP) or I have colors that are similar enough to not need these.

Yup especially collection like these nothing really stands out so you force yourself to like something. I have way too many eye shadows and I just ordered some pans last week so waiting for the Antonio and riri collection.

I only wear one perfume, and i stocked up when one of the drugstores decided to stop carrying it. It's not cheap either, so i cleaned em out and got a great deal on it too! Bought 15 bottles!

I'm kinda interested in the gold fluidline to wear as a shadow and then I might as well pick up the corresponding shadow, Gilty Morsel, to layer on top. Not sure about that, though. I need swatches because at some point all of these descriptions start to sound the same and my brain goes to much reading them.

For those ladies (or gents!) who have seen the collection in person, are you able to say how Utterly Tart compares to Cult of Cherry? Or Sweet Succulence to Desire? I'm interested in both, but I'm trying to avoid buying shades that are too close to one another.

There are many options but when I first bought fluid line they suggested the 263 and that's what I've been using for 10 years. It makes it really easy to apply.

Richelle & BFEs. I thought something was seriously wrong with me because I am so underwhelmed by this collection. I just recinded my RSVP to the event
to which I was invited next week. When I'm into a collection I purchase most if not all of it. This is a total pass for me.

Fragrance is my passion. I worked in fragrance department for three years. I have over 50 at home

Dune by Christian Dior. It used to be my sister's favorite, but then i started borrowing it from her back in middle school. Been wearing it ever since! Going on almost 20 years now!

Oh man there's so many options! If you want an angled brush, (which i prefer cuz you can rest the angle on the lashline for guidance) you could go with the 263 or 266. Some people even like the 208, tho that's better suited for eyebrows since its shorter and stiffer to get into the brow hairs. If you want something finer there's the 209 or 210, which some people say give them more control and finer lines. There's also the 212, which not a lot of people consider for some reason. I use this to perfect winged liner. It honestly comes down to personal preference and what works best for you. I prefer the 266 myself.
