So I actually have pix this time of the fabulous makeup look my MA did for me today:
This is what we did:
Eyes: Industrial pearlglide as a base all over the lid and under the lower lashes. Soba in the crease, blended in. Beluga, which we are both crazy about, all over the lid and into the crease. A little Deep Cravings in there too - not quite sure, because I was getting super relaxed and was floating off in la la land a bit. S&tO to highlight in the tear ducts and inner lower lash line. a touch of Blitz 'n Glitz f/l in lower waterline and finally, Deliciously Rich f/l applied in the center of the lid for sparkle. 43 lashes to complete it, since I was in a lash mood.
Skin: the new P&P BB cream in medium as a primer all over the face (I've gotten rather tan this summer without trying to) with the new Mineralize foundation around chin and jawline, through center of the face through forehead and nose in NC15, with a darker shade for my eye bags (pretty sure he used more foundation, rather than a concealer, from the texture of my skin). Strobe Cream and a little Lightscapade to highlight the cheeks with Tease Your Tastes for color (loooove that one). No powder to finish to keep a fresh natural look - I've had quite a few MAs do my makeup and he's the #1 best at making the skin look flawless but also like it's totally naked. No Fix+ or anything like that either and it's fine - everything is going strong after 5 hours of hot summer and in a bit I'm going out on the town!
Lips: First applied FtS all over. Then, on top of FtS, used Cork just in the outer corners of the lips with a bit of a blend of Dervish and In Synch to line the cupid's bow and center of the lower lip. Blot then apply more FtS just in the center of the lips for a subtle contoured lip. As you can see, it's almost imperceptible in the photos, although if you look closely in person you can see the contour work. We both lived through the 90's so we know what that thing is all about and are OK with it coming back in, haha.
I love this guy so much - there were all these people just standing around watching him work the magic! He does quite a bit of television work on the side, and rightfully so. Obviously this photo is rather yellowish compared to natural light, but the cheeks in particular are a very accurate color representation, and so are the lips if you look close in the first one. You sort of miss all the fabulous shimmer on the eyes, but just imagine it in your mind! Now it's time for me to get my party clothes on and hit the road!
