I only got three items from this collection (pretty proud of myself, first makeup purchase since tropical taboo)
Eat, Love
: I was worried the emerald wouldn't show up very well and just look black when applied but I tried it quickly last night and it was amazing! I showed up as deep emerald, just as in the description. I found it very smooth and blended easily with a 217. I can't wait to play who this more, I can see myself using this a lot in the fall
Feed the Senses: I have tried this twice now. First time was a fail, it didn't show up at all on my pigmented lips. Second time I applied it over a very thin layer of lip erase and it was beautiful. It's my perfect nude, not to warm, not too pink, not too beige, if they restock on mac I will have to grab a BU, and that's saying something because I never buy BU's
Beluga: I have yet to try, but it is looking gorgeous in the pan, I will probably play with it tonight before work.

Yes I'm shocked eat love isn't getting more love. I wanted a neutral look so I cruised GM. So. I went to my MAC counter after work tonight to get my backup of LFL but, they were sold out. Poo!
So, I guess I will just order it through Nordies instead. I did swatch Beluga, Eat, Love, Deep Cravings and By Design Lipstick. But, they just didn't do it for me. The eyeshadows are beautiful but, I have colors similar to these already in my stash. And By Design just made me look washed out. I liked the finish but, not on me. So I was dissapointed that I didn't come home with anything from MAC. I know this is off topic but, on my way home tonight, I stopped at Rite Aid to fill a prescription and I saw that they had the Maybelline Fall 2013 collection out. So...I picked up Chocolate Lust a beautiful brick/brown red on my lips. Perfect for Fall. and the Eye Studio Master Smoky eyeshadow stick in Provence Plum. I had never tried those pencils before. I can tell you, that it's a beautiful deep plum shade and when it sets on the skin, it doesn't budge! I had to really scrape it off. Even with eye makeup remover. Insane! I'm also thinking about picking up Midnight Plum lipstick and another of the Smoky eyeshadow sticks. This is actually a REALLY nice looking collection. I was impressed. I guess that was my consolation prize. Hey! At least I went home with something! I feel good. And saved a few dollars.

Hi guys ! I just came across this on google and wanted to respond to you . I made that lip using MAC Pro Lipmix in three shades. white and Black to make grey , and then I added a dash of Burgundy to it to create this grey/purple color . Lipmix is one of the best products if you haven't tried it !!! Thanks for the post !!! Xoxo

I ordered Beluga, Sex and the Oyster, and Three Ring Yellow for MAC's site the day the collection launched. I had been eyeing Eat, Love also, but I had limited myself to only 3 shadows for budget purposes. So I placed my order, and the day it arrives, I received 3 eyeshadows. But instead of Three Ring Yellow, they sent me Eat, Love instead by mistake! I double checked my invoice to make sure it wasn't my error, lo and behold whoever had packed my box mistakenly put Eat, Love in there. I called MAC immediately to tell them what had happened, and the rep apologized for the error on their part and said she would send me Three Ring Yellow free of charge, allowing me to keep Eat, Love also. I was incredibly pleased with their customer service, considering this was a new launch and all!
So in the end, I ended up getting all the eyeshadows I wanted, what a happy ending!

My Nordstrom's counter just called and invited me to a tips and tricks like make up class on Saturday. The class will be held at the counter which makes me wonder how much of a class it really is. I think it is an attempt to promote and sell items . I dunno. The lady said there will be goodies and giveaways at the event. I plan to go as I could use a few lessons. I may get another item from this collection as a courtesy but not sure what exactly as yet. Maybe Deep Craving, Sex and the Oyster or a back up of LFL gloss

It was fun Pixie, thanks for remembering! We went to dinner at Aruba's down on the beach, dined outside overlooking the water while a live band played and sang inside. We then walked down the pier, watched folks fishing, took in all the nightlife on the waters and just enjoyed the quiet peaceful serene atmosphere. It was really pleasant and nice. I will end on the note......... really....... yes, lol. I wished that the event was during the AL and PLW launch but oh well
