MAC Indulge Collection (August 22, 2013)

My husband is killing me!!! I'm very anxious to get 2 packages. My hubster picked them up for me yesterday. One has Sex & The Oyster, and the other has Pink Pepper Pressed Pigment. Usually when he gets my packages from the p.o., he brings them directly to me. A while back we were talking about how hot it was and how I'd hate for him to leave my packages, especially the ones that contain lip items, to stay in his truck and possibly end up melting. Well, that was my little thing to make sure he continues to get them right to me. Well, yesterday, he remembered that little conversation. He didn't ask if they were meltable items in the packages or anything, he just politely bought the packages inside his office and guess what he did? Yep, you guessed it. He bought them inside his office and LEFT THEM THERE LAST NIGHT when he came home. I'm mad but okay, I figure I'll just get them tomorrow which is now today. My daughter was like shiidddd, if that were my packages I would've been like um, daddy, does the office have an alarm? Do you know the code/password? Cuz um yeah daddy, let's go. LMBO!! He just came got something from me and did he have my packages? Nope. I'm telling you, this man is gonna have some making up to do!

I ordered Sex and the Oyster last week and received a shipping notice last Thursday as of this morning UPS website shows only a label created. I call Mac and the CS rep insisted that it was already shipped out and UPS just hadn't updated the system. To call back Friday if I didn't receive and they would re-ship it. I called UPS I didn't talk to human but it confirmed tht only a shipping label was created. I just don't believe they have it yet. They always are good about updating. I was thinking about calling Mac back because I'm not sure if the rep knew what he was talking about. Should I call or wait til Friday?

I finally got my package and I just tried on Just a Bite. I also swatched it next to a lot of my other reds and it's closest to Runaway Red, but slightly browner. I tried it on without a lipliner and it's quite a vampy red I love it! I think Brick lipliner will be lovely with it. I'm glad I got a BU, because I'll wear this a lot during fall and winter.
On my eyes I'm wearing Divine Decadence on the lids and underneath the eyes, Beluga in the crease and in the outer part underneath the eyes, Blanc Type to highlight and Three Ring Yellow on the inner corners. I love this look with Just a Bite and that really suprizes me, because I wouldn't think a yellowish colour on the eyes would combine with a red on the lips. I'm happy that I have a new eyelook to wear with reds.

Thanks! I have been wearing this eyelook the whole day already and my face is shiney and I just put on my glasses instead of my contacts so no picture today, but I'm sure I'll do this again and I'll try to take a picture. I also still need to play with my new Sugarpill goodies and take pictures with those on, so many makeup so little time...

I'm feeling a little bit better today which is nice as I've been sick the past week! Still have a long way to go for recovery but at least I don't feel like I'm dying right now.

Was I right to skip in Glittery Morsel? I didn't buy it because it's a lustre and I generally hate them & their fall out. I only skipped PP because I own it in the quad, but I almost wish I got it in single form now as I can guarantee the payoff is better.

Were any of the cremeblend blushes worth it? I've never used a cream blush before and with oily skin I'm terrified of them.

Glad you feel better!! i only have Ladyblush cremeblend blush and it's a beautiful color but on my oily skin it doesn't stay on.The only way i use it really is underneath a powder blush to extend the wear.I suppose it depends how oily you are.I have VERY oily skin and live in a very warm climate.

I finally got my goodies! Finally have S&TO in my little hands. I have Feed The Senses too from this collection.

I'll swatch and take pics tomorrow when I have some natural lighting.

Runaway Red is my first and foremost HG red too. I thought JAB was going to be that type of brownish red that is very aging on me, but instead it worked really well and was very flattering. I wouldn't necessarily call it a "casual" red, but it's earthier, rather than ultra feminine and glam. I bought a tube, but I didn't back it up. It's going to get more use than the Marilyn reds, which are less original looking on me than JAB.

Runaway Red is my first and foremost HG red too. I thought JAB was going to be that type of brownish red that is very aging on me, but instead it worked really well and was very flattering. Glad you feel better!! i only have Ladyblush cremeblend blush and it's a beautiful color but on my oily skin it doesn't stay on.The only way i use it really is underneath a powder blush to extend the wear.I suppose it depends how oily you are.I have VERY oily skin and live in a very warm climate.

I've got a blush from LE Indulge - Glamour Feast, I have a mixed skin and Glamour Feats kept its perfect all day, and apply it with a brush 187. In my opinion - it's worth.

I was thinking about Tease your Tastes cremeblend blush, so on Monday I went to a counter and a lovely SA applied it on my cheeks. (I never tried them because I was afraid of the creme formula would give me breakouts...)
I wore it from 12AM to 11PM and I was really surprised that the colour stayed on better than my powder blushes!
I got a little bit of shine coming trough (but I think that is beacuse of my PMS, cause all my face looked shiney and I didn't use any new products besides the cremeblend).
So yesterday I went back and actually I purchased Ladyblush, I liked it a little better than Tease your Tastes.
I think Ladyblush will be a big fave of mine, the cold weather is coming and my skin will turn more dry as well.
(But I have combianation prone to oilyness, just for reference.) HTH!

Yeah - I was actually expecting it to look horrid on me, but it wound up making my skin look quite nice so I went with it. I haven't officially worn it yet…still waiting for a little more fallsy weather to kick in.

I DID break open Lust For Life today and wore it really simply with Gilty Morsel all over the lid and nothing else. WOW, I loved LFL when I first tried it out in the store, but wearing it on a nice sunny day it looked ten times more gorgeous. What a great color…it's sort of the lipglass version of Strong Woman, so basically awesome. I've been trying to cut back on glosses and haven't been wearing them so much this year, but I'm officially making an exception for LFL.
