RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

To add in to the Smoked Purple chat, I bought mine with the MAC Me Over collection. I've have only worn it once, when I went to NYC this past Thanksgiving. I really need to bust it out soon coz it's so lovely.

But to get

I really love how TTT looks. I'm just an incredible sucker for dark, vampy colors. I'm kinda interested in the nude lippie but I'd really like to see swatches first before I can commit myself to anything.

The nude picture is so depressing. I was really looking forward to it and it looks really grayish.

The Nude in the color corrected pic make sense though if she's saying she picked colors that would work on her and her friends a light nude would be harder to make flattering on deeper skins tones seems like this would be a WOC friendly nude. I will reserve judgement until I see it in person it may look blah in tube but amazing on the lips.

So much Smoked Purple talk.

I'm not a huge fan of it - I've tried it out and never wanted to buy it. I found it dry like a desert.

I also felt like the color was a nice idea but winds up looking too flat on the lips. MAC definitely has the potential to do a very similar color but with more richness and depth, rather than just darkness from black pigment. I can wait for the eventual Smoked Purple on Steroids shade and when that day comes, it will be back up city!

Okay, I have a question...out of all the pics we have seen, does anybody have a pic of the actual packaging (boxes) of the items?  I am usually not picky about the packaging but if this particular collection comes in the regular MAC black boxes then I am actually going to be MAD!  LOL!!

I know you probably aren't a gloss girl but the right gloss could fix the lack of depth. Then again I have similar colors. I was recently eyeball ing poison berry by lime crime but don't know if I really want to support the company with the ethical issues I've read. This could be the time to finally try inglot for me.

And I am loving how purplish Talk That Talk looks on her promo ad. I want it leaning more purple/berry so it will differ from the brownish red tone of Fixed on Drama.
