i love fixed on drama!  it lasted ALL morning-coffee, water, waffles, apple! It faded slightly after my burger and fries. I used a balm in the am-as I always do while I'm getting ready for the day and then applied from the tube when I was ready do my face. I received many compliments and inquiries on my lip color that day. It's really great for any ladies that are on the fence.  I must say I love it against the palest skin tones too. It just works all around. I'm also going to get flat out fabulous when it restocks.  So I've been looking at swatch after swatch of RR and AFU -so one is like  party parrot and the other is moxie? I'm confused.  I have moxie. love it.  but I love the retro matte formula.  Just trying to figure out which is best.  What do you think gals? I'm leaning towards RR as b/c I never got party parrot but it really doesn't seem like PaPa to me...IDK....looks like moxie! Although in some swatches it looks like a pinky red not a coral pinky red. Hell, AFU looks like moxie too. lol:shock: FOD no liner

ETA: And if these are supposed to be perm, why "sold out" and not "out of stock"?

Thanks for all your kind comments ladies Prettypackages: I used Beautiful Iris on the lid, Soft Brown & Brownscript as transition colors, some Fig.1 in the crease/outer v, bit of Shadowy Lady in outer v, Vanilla (very lightly) as highlight, and two colors from the Too Faced loves Sephora palette under the eye

Steady Going, Runway Hit and Fixed on Drama are limited edition, hence the "sold out". Flat Out Fabulous and All Fired Up said "Out of Stock" before saying "Coming Soon".

Hey everyone!! I'm new to the site.All of you look absolutely beautiful with your lippies.I only bought flat out fabulous and I might go back for fashion boost lip pencil.

Honestly, although FOD is really beautiful, the anti-enabler in me just has to say that TTT is probably going to be even nicer, especially for your skin tone (you're NW, right?).

I also think we have definitely not seen the last of this particular vampy shade this fall/winter from MAC, although perhaps it will be a matte or a satin rather than a retro matte.

I do love all my retro mattes, but I honestly have to say your skin has to be flawlessly moist and glowing to set them off to their best advantage, which at our age is sort of on a day-by-day, wait and see basis, hehe. I'm wearing All Fired Up right now, as we speak, but I just know there are going to be days where the last thing I am going to want to be wearing is a retro matte, especially FOD.

If I had to choose between them, I would totally pick Subverted or Pre-Raphaelite or Dominate over FOD. I'm sure part of it is because I've already been around the block a few times with the mega matte lipstick look in the 90's. I'm enjoying the shock of something really new feeling with the vampy metallics from Nudes & Metallics. Retro Mattes DO have the word "retro" in them, after all. I still love 'em and bought them all without hesitating.

Just don't feel like you missed the second coming of the vampy lipstick goddess if you missed FOD.
