Is FTS really that different from Outrageously Fun? I am starting to feel the tiniest of lemmings forming. I still hate the name because of that dang Friskies commercial slogan.

I have soar.. it's pink, but it might work. I don't have hip n happy, but it's nice. I initially thought of Absolutely it.
I'm going to check out Nyx's site. Like you I really don't want to alter the color...
Absolutely It would be an excellent one to try! On me, it's like Dervish, but adding extra brown to the undertones - a little extra brown might be the right thing to bump FTS up for you.

I think Stone would also be pretty awesome, since it's got some extra brown and also has some extra grey too, to subtly deepen the color and keep the awesome greyishness still in play.

Can you tell I'm not a huge fan of matchy-matchy lip liner?

It's got its place, but it gets too easy to go all Baywatch with that sort of thing, if it's not perfect.

Let's put it this way: I was totally going to skip it since I already had Yung Rapunxel and Boyfriend Stealer and I STILL got it! It's got a swanky reddish cast to it that I really liked, plus it's very smooth and not patchy (at least on me - some others had more patchiness issues than I did).

Feed the senses with Dervish lip pencil. (sorry for the bare face and the breakout) I tried Swimming with Eat,Love but it was a failed... Not because of the shadows, but because I still need to practice a lot ! :-/

While we're talking about liner/gloss combos, I've been wearing Liqueur with Morning Coffee liner to death all week. Love it - looks great with the Antonio Lopez Creative Copper palette.

I've been wearing NYX Mauve lip pencil with FTS... I think Spikesmom is rocking this combo too. I seem to remember her mentioning it also. Nice combo. Really gives FTS the something extra it needed for me!

Sometimes, if you want to bring out a certain aspect, you wind up getting the best results with something surprising underneath….

I really like your BBQ idea too. Dervish is one of the colors I'd pick for myself, since it's basically the closest MLBB MAC liner shade for my coloring. Sticking to something just slightly deeper and rosier than your own natural lip color is probably enough to make FTS blend in better with your general coloring.

I love Hip N' Happy when I want to brighten up and bring out the cooler/pinker aspects of colors that lean a little too brown on me. For example, it's exactly the perfect color that tones down the brown and brings out the lovely mauve in Hot Chocolate, Till Tomorrow PLW l/s, Offshoot, etc. I've got multiple BUs of it, since it's so useful.

With FTS, I think it'd make it brighter and pinker and cooler, but that might actually make it even harder to wear for some skin tones, since the grey undertone in FTS is what makes it work so well for folks that can't always wear these shades, and HNH would cancel out some of that grey. It's worth a try, though, if you already own it.
