I'm thinking the same thing too.. it's looking gorgeous on those who shared pics.. it looks like it would be super orangy frosty in the tube but it's not showing up that way on the lip.

Yeah, it looked quite frosty in the swatch but it looks like it just has a bit of shine to it on the lips in the photos that I've seen. Also, the pairings with the RiRi Woo lip liner looked gorgeous as well. I hope when I go to the mall to get my eyebrows done today that they will have it at the Macy's counter.

I joined in January and honestly, I never had an issue. I feel like some people just need to use a little more common sense... Like don't post rude comments, especially when it's post #3.... "Secret site" is not to be mean to new members but rather so Lurkers who aren't searching as hard as we are don't take all the stock. If you want to be part of the community, don't join the day before a release because as many have said it just looks suspect... To those that join and contribute, nobody will have an issue giving you "secret information". Back to the makeup ya'll...

I think some people get rude in their posts because they're guilty of what some of us here have talked about.

Hi everybody! I'm new to this forum as of today (LOL) after reading a few posts the past week or so. I've enjoyed all of you and your passion for MAC! I love makeup in general so I wholeheartedly share your enthusiasm. Anywho, since I've been reading, I've notcied that a lot of people were unable to get certain items from the RiRi collection particularly TTT. Well in my OCDness and not wanting to deal with the rush yesterday, I called all over the US to find what I wanted and had it shipped to me. In that quest, I discovered that the MAC counter at Macys in Boise, ID has of today, 16 TTT lipsticks available. Call 208-373-6000 ext 6375 and ask for Megan. She can help you. I hope this helps and those who missed out can get it. I also have a chart of stores across the USA who still has considerable stock of other items. If you'd like that info let me know. I'm new to this so I'll get back to whomever when I can or when I figure it out! Good day to you all!

Yeesssss lol! I've neglected Sephora with my eyes so fixated on MAC this year... I'm afraid that when I do go I'll have a meltdown because of everything I'll want to buy but know full well I've surpassed my cosmetics purchasing limit (as if I ever keep to what I set for myself smh). Where is the "I need a side hustle because MAC is taking all of my money, therefore limiting what I can buy from other brands" thread LMAO

Hey do not feel bad. If you really know us we do not care about whether we really got a riri lipstick or not, it's just that we have been long avid mac makeup buyers and at the end it is the principle of how mac is dealing with things. It pisses me off when I am an avid mac buyer of makeup who buys from every collection and don't have issues getting what I want from these collections, but when collections like mac riri comes along and for me it should be like previous collections but it is not and I don't get what I want, that is what gets me angry, but not from people who got multiples. I like to get my BU too.

In all my time buying MAC I've luckily never had a problem, but seeing what everyone else goes through gets me nervous. It really does matter so much how a company handles things! I hope the "waiting room" is no more for the holiday collection! That was a hot mess!

So, as I sit and wait for my back-ordered WTC lipstick, I think back to the reason I bought it-earlier in this thread someone posted this l/s with Nars turkish delight lipgloss and it looked DIVINE!!! So now Im getting really excited, even though I will be waiting a while for this to ship...

I dont know what takes over me when there is a highly anticipated collection coming out, but I get into a frenzy where I feel the need to buy as much as I can. Someone please explain to me how I went in thinking I only wanted TTT l/s, and ended up ordering 5 other items from the collection.

I need help. My friends think Im weird and dont understand me...I guess thats why Im here lol

I don't think they are ganging up on everyone but this happens with EVERY popular collection. People join for one collection they're interested in ask tons of questions and never post again once they got the things they wanted.

Then there are some who lurk for information from active members and buy up everything before REAL makeup lovers can get it. And I'm sure the majority of them are putting it up on ebay and other places for sale. It's not fair to the member who contribute to this forum. We were all "newbies" at one point and if you contribute to the threads no one will treat you differently. However, if your first posts are questions on how and where to get certain things you can expect a not so friendly response. Read the threads and contribute like a normal member and no one will treat you any differently.

With that said Welcome to Specktra! I hope you stick around

You should get it Naomi. Ikea and it's called ALEX. Make sure you take a strong gentleman with you because the box is heavy. The part I hated the most was putting it together. I swear there were a million pieces in that box.

During the next collection, I may just go into "ghost" mode. Give props here and there. Click helpful for posts and the like. But that's it. I don't think I can deal with it. It sucks because this is supposed to be a community where we all can come together and share our love of makeup and information about that makeup with each other.

I bet once RiRi is out of the picture everything will return to normal. It seriously hasn't been like this before, not even when people were arguing about T. Hang in there.
